Jacob's P.O.V.

I walked down the hallways with a smirk. It has been so long since I have attended school. I was away from town because of some pack problems but now that I am back I think I should throw a party tonight.

"Jake, man!" someone called me. I turned back to see my mates.

"Tyler, Drake, Oliver!" I greeted them."So long man!"

"Yeah! Where did you disappear dude?" Oliver asked. "Please don't tell me that you were with that slut Tanya."

Oliver is my soon to be beta. He is a great fighter and commander.

I laughed and said "No, no. I was away for some work." I lied easily.

I knew that they would believe me as my father was the richest man in town and I had to help him with his work sometimes. After all someday all his money would be mine. And so would be his position in the pack. I would become the alpha someday.

I was so lost in my thoughts that i forgot about the reality.

The bell rang, bursting our ears,because my hearing was really sensitive. But I didn't pay attention to it as I was planning on skipping the first period.

"Sorry man I have to attend the Lit. Class. I heard that there is a new hot teacher."Tyler said and I laughed again. He was always running after women regardless of their age but i knew that he was only waiting for his mate.

We werewolves are much more horny than normal men and we usually have a really hard time tryingh to control our raging hormones.

" Really? Then I should check her out too!" Oliver smirked. Although he looked tough and had a rough attitude, he was really a baby on the inside.

"OK then we'll see you both later!"Tyler said.

Both of them took their books out of their lockers and walked to class leaving Drake and myself behind.

"Yeah! Me too! What is your first class?"Drake asked.

"I don't remember and anyways I am planning on skipping it." I answered, a smirk growing on my face. Did he really think that I came back to scholl after such a long time just to study?

I would go anywhere but to class. Maybe to one of the cheerleaders.

"K! See ya later dude!" He said and walked off to his class.

I turned to my locked, going through some stuff and trying to find my i-pod.

I took out my i-pod and the earphones.

I put the earphones in my ear and started going through the songs. Atlast I put 'Tonight I'm loving you' by Enrique as I started walking again. I really liked this song and it suited me well too.

I felt something bump into my back so I took my earphones out and turned around to see who had just earned a ticket to hell by bumping into me.

I felt my heart stop when I saw a girl on the ground. She was not just a girl. She was a really beautiful girl.

She had long dark brown which were flying everywher on her face hair and really pale skin. She was petite and had a small frame. But the thing that really drew my attention were her big bright blue eyes which were half visible through her hair.

"Ouch!" She muttered. 'I am so sorry!"

It was the sweetest voice I had ever heard. Cheesy, i know but it was.

" It's alright. " I said.

She tried to get up as her hands wandered to find something for support. Couldn't she see the locker handle that was right next to her?

She tried again and again until I gave her my hand.

"Here, let me help you." I said. It was the first time I was helping someone. This was so unlike me but then this girl looked so helpless on the floor that i couldnt stop myself.

"Thank you!"She said, smiling.

It was the most beautiful smile i had ever seen.

She took my hand after swaying her had in air for two minutes. When she touched my hand I felt sparks.

My wolf purred happily.

'Mate!' my wolf growled.'Mark her!Mate!'

Oh no! She was my mate.

My soul mate! The other half of me!

This couldn't happen. I didn't want a soul mate. I didn't need one!

I retracted my hand and she fell the ground again.

My wolf snarled at me in my head.

'Mate! Help her! Mark her!"

'NO!' i growled back.

Did he really think that i would accept her? I Didnt need a mate and i never would! I will never accet her!

"Ouch!" she said again in her angelic voice. My wolf snarled at me again.

I put my earphones back not caring to help her again or answer her questions. I didnt even spare her a glance as I took out some condoms from my locker.

I was planning on getting laid tonight.

I walked away ,without looking back as she groaned in pain although my wolf was still begging me to go and help her. I ignored him.
