Mixed emotions

First of all...I am so so so sorry for the late update. I was really busy. I'll tell my story later sometime but right now...enjoy.

ALICIA

I heard firm but swift footsteps coming towards the room. Alexander had left me alone in the room to call my aunt and get the room arranged for my stay.

I hope my aunt says yes. I just can't go back. Not yet atleast.I don't wanna face Jacob or even Oliver for that matter. I am being a coward I know but I don't care right now.

There was a knock at the door.

"Alicia?" I heard Alexander's voice."May I come in?"

Was he really asking me if he could come in? It was his own house but I felt a wave of giddiness wash over. It was nice to know that he was considerate.

"Yea...sure..." I muttered in a small voice which was barely audible. But none the less he heard it and I heard the door being pushed open.

I heard him walk up to my bed.  I assumed he sat down at the edge because I felt the bed move.

"So...um...what did my aunt say?" I asked in a small voice afraid to know the answer.

"She said that you could stay."He said.

Really? She said I could stay?

"Yes. That's what I said."he said.

My cheeks burned red. Had I said that out loud?

He chuckled lightly and his voice sent a shiver up my spine. It was shocking how just his voice could give me goosebumps like he had some sort of spell on me.

We sat in a comfortable silence.

"Your room has been arranged." he said after a while.

"Oh...ok." I started to get up from the bed but instead my ankle got stuck in the bed sheets and the next thing I knew I was falling.

JACOB

I woke up feeling exhausted. My throat was burning and it felt like I hadn't had water for days.

"He's awake..." someone whispered.

I heard more whispers before I finally decided to open my eyes.

The first thing I saw was the old pack doctor-Marie, looking down at me with a concerned face. She was frowning deeply as she leaned back and away from me.

The next person I saw was Oliver. Even he was looking at me with a frown. I could tell, just by looking at his face that he was worried, concerned and annoyed for some reason. I even saw a hint of relief in his eyes.

Then I turned my head just a little and found many people, all pack members standing there. They were all looking at me with concern, worry and relief in their eyes.

"What's going on?" I croaked.

Oliver got up and ordered everyone to proceed back to their rooms. Everyone started leaving in an instant. Why wouldn't they? He was my beta after all.

Oliver handed me a glass of water and it suddenly occured to me about how thirsty I was and still am.

I took the glass gratefully and almost moaned in releif as the cool water ran down my throat.

"What happened?..."I said In a clearer voice.

Then suddenly a flashback of all the things that had happened flooded into my mind. Oliver on top of Alicia...me shouting at Alicia...Alicia running into the woods... I sat up instantly.

"Where is she?" I asked Oliver."Did u find her?"

He looked uncomfortable.

"Look...alpha...you are not well ye-"he started but I cut him off

"Don't alpha me Oliver! Where is she?!" I shouted and got up instantly.

My alpha aura was so powerful that he got on his knees.

"We found her..." he said softly.

A rush of relief ran though me. I instantly relaxed and calmed down.

They found her...they found my Alicia...

I sat back down and let out a sigh of relief. They finally found her...

I will apologise to her, hear her out and never hurt her again. I will hold her...and kiss her...like she is the most important person on earth.

She is my universe.

"Where is she?" I asked softly.

Oliver got up and shifted uncomfortably from one feet to another. He looked upset.

"What is it?"I asked.

"She..." he hesitated and stopped.

"She? Tell me Oliver, where is she?" I asked frustrated as I got up and grabbed him by the collar.

"She...She is in Alexander's territory..."he said at last.

I froze...

I am sooo late.

I promised to update but due to some reasons couldn't update sooner.

I guess...better late than never?
