Alicia's P.O.V.

"Come on baby, find me! I am here!" a sweet feminine voice shouted.

" Mommy?" The little me turned around and there she was.

Her long brown hair flowing with the wind. Her blue eyes wide with happiness. She looked fabulous in that bright yellow sun dress.

" I caught you mommy!" My little self ran to her and hugged her legs tightly.

"Oh no! You found me!" she whined dramatically.

My mom took the the little me in her arms and kissed the little girl's brown hair.

I was woken up by the loud ringing of the alarm. That dream... I remember that day. We had gone to the beach. I was so happy...

I rubbed my eyes slowly and got up. Kai purred and rolled up on my lap as I rubbed his soft fur.

"Come on Kai!" I gave the cat a little push. "I need to get ready for school. I promise that I'll play with you later."

He jumped off my lap and I instantly started missing the warmth he was providing me with. It was so cold today.

I heard my door opening which caught me by surprise and I jumped a little.

"Sweetie, you need to g-" my aunt started.

"Oh you're already up. Come on! Get ready darling. A young man is here to pick you up.He says that his name is Oliver

and that he's a friend of yours." she said excitedly.

My heart rate spiked up. Oliver was here to pick me up? Why? How long has he been here? Oh God! He must be waiting for me. Shoot!

" Just give me ten minutes.I'll be downstairs right away."I said quickly.

"He does seem like a handsome young gentleman. Are you hiding something from me young lady?" she said in an accusing but amused tone.

What could I be hiding from her? I mean I havent- Oh! She must be thinking that Oliver and I...

"Oh no no no! It's nothing like that we are just friends."I said in a panicked voice.

"Ok! Ok! believe you. Calm down."She said

I breathed out a sigh of relief.

"We'll be waiting downstairs." she said.

As soon as I heard the door slam shut, I rushed into the bathroom.

Oliver's P.O.V.

I parked my car infront of Alicia's house.

I checked my hair once again in the rear view mirror. For the first time in my life I was a little nervous.

I got out of my car and gracefully walked to her front door. I rang the bell twice until a lady, probably in her late twenties opened the door.

She had light brown hair and brown eyes. She frowned as her face became puzzled when she saw me.

"Uh...Hi...I am a friend of Alicia. I am here to pick her up." I said nervously and scratched the back of my neck.

"Oh! Please come in I'll just call her downstairs." she said after she processed what I had said.

She ran upstairs as I took a look around the house. There were pictures hung on the wall. One particular photo caught my attention. There was a young couple and a little girl in the photo. The all had big smiles on their faces. The women looked a lot like Alicia and I assumed was her mother. Then the man must be her father and the cute little girl was Alicia.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard little  foot steps coming down the stairs.

I looked towards the source of the sound and saw Alicia coming down the stairs.

She was wearing a large sweater and tight jeans. She must be feeling cold but she almost looked drowned in that big blue coloured sweater that matched her eyes.

"I can feel your eyes on my sweater."she said.

" No...umm...it's just a little big for you ,don't you think?" I asked.

"Yea it was my dad's. I wear it because it reminds me of him." She said in a broken voice as her eyes began to water.

I didn't say anything as I picked her up in my arms, rested her head on my shoulder and walked to my car. She sobbed lightly on my shoulders making my expensive shirt wet but I didn't care. I let her pour out all her tears.

Then I buckled her in and got into the drivers seat.

I looked at her face and all I saw was pain and tears. I knew that she was broken and that there was more to her that meets the eye.

I knew exactly what I had to do- heal her. I had to fix her! Heal her!

So, she misses her parents a lot. Oliver is such a sweetheart, right?
