When I finally came to my senses I saw Jacob and his pack leaving.

Alicia was gone...

That little angel was gone.

The one who had made my heart feel so much in such little time was gone.

I fell to my knees with my face buried in my hands as i Recalled and tried to register what had happened.

My mate was gone...

Mate?...

Realisation hit me as I put the prices together.

She was my mate! That's why I had felt so attracted to her. But how...?

Jamie came up beside me nd put a hand on my shoulder in order to offer comfort but the next moment he was pressed against a tree with a hand squeezing his neck. This wouldn't kill him but it will hurt like hell.

"Why?" I yelled menacingly.

"I had to! There are already problems between our kingdoms. He was her mate." He said.

"She's mine! I am her mate!" I yelled and he looked at me, confused

I dropped him and turned away.

"Leave." I said. He didn't have to be told twice. He knew not to mess with me right now.

Ny mate...I had just met her.I was not going to let her go that easily. My angel...I would fight for her if I had to. I would tear down the mutts. I would start a war. I would burn this planet down if I had to. I would do anything to get her back.

"Soon...very soon you'll be back in my arms angel..." I whispered into the night...
