•BRITTANY GREENE•
I lay down on my bed, feeling sorry for myself. Feeling rejected. Feeling unlucky.
Why does Chelsea always have to make fun of me? Who cares if I don't wear makeup?
Ugh.
I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep......
I was in my new school, Riverside High, and was walking to my class. As I turned the hallway I saw a big crowd around somebody. As I approached it, I realized it was Chelsea that was getting a crowd of attention. Popular, mean Chelsea. I sighed and tried to get through it. But I couldn't, because as I got closer into it, Chelsea came in front of me and pushed me back. I kept trying to push back through to get to my class, but she kept pushing me out. Again and again. Then, she shoved me to the ground. Just as I was about to hit the ground, I woke up from the dreadful nightmare. My mother was shaking me. ".....Brittany! Wake up! Brittany!"
"I'm awake," I muttered.
She helped me get up. "Dinner is ready, so come downstairs." We walked downstairs and I sat down at the table, still tired.
"Did you have a dream?" My mother asked me.
"Uhh....yeah," I responded.
"What was it about?"
"Oh, you know, school......."
"What happened in the dream?"
"Umm....uh....." I panicked. I couldn't tell her what it was REALLY about!
"Umm, I forgot," I said quickly.
She set my plate full of pasta on the table, along with another plate of garlic bread.
"Eat up!" My mother said.
"Uhh, I'm not really hungry anymore," I said. I walked upstairs and lay in my bed. I put my hands in my face and tried to fall back asleep. But I couldn't.
