I felt him put his hands through my hair while my arms were wrapped around him. The rain around us was dripping everywhere, but I knew I was safe in his arms. I paused out of my thoughts as he whispered something in my ear...

I pulled his face close to mine and whispered it back. He leaned forward and kissed me. He felt awkward and unsure. He pulled away but leaned in again but this time the kiss felt like coming home.
