Queen

I walked down the halls after school, my uniform terribly itchy. It was no use to scratch because then it would make it worse. I saw a group of girls rush by me and knock down another girl's books. They just laughed and kept running. "Let me help you," I said, picking up her history book. "Thanks," she whispered before running away. "You're probably weirder than she is," said a voice behind me. "Oh shut up!" I exclaimed as the voice came up next to me. It was my best friend since I could remember, Luke Hemmings. "Want to come over?" Luke asked me, "We do have a major test tomorrow." I laughed. "Sure," I replied, "Not like we are going to study any way though." We walked down the halls and out the front door. We never took the bus and decided to walk.

The same group of girls from earlier were ahead of us. "If they turn around," I mumbled under my breath. "Chill," he replied, "You can really hate people, can't you." I studied the girls. "Where are they going?" I asked as they were taking the same route as us. Luke glanced at me as we kept walking. They walked up to the house right next to his. We stopped in his driveway and looked at each other before looking over at the girls. "I would say something," I said, walking again towards his front door. He walked behind me and we went inside his house. "What if," I said, "We just not study." He laughed and set down his bag on the table in the kitchen. "We need to though," he replied, "I really suck at this class." I moaned and sat down at the table and pulled out my notebook.

I started tapping the table with my pencil when I couldn't think of anything. "Kesha?" he asked. I started singing 'We R Who We R' and he rolled his eyes. He finally decided to join in and we both were singing at the top of our lungs. Not to brag, but we were pretty damn good. We stopped at the end of the song and laughed so hard I thought I might of thrown up. "Luke," I said after we finally calmed down, "You should make a YouTube channel. I mean, I have a small band so I can't do much but seriously. You have a good voice." His cheeks turned a deep red color and he went back to his paper. I didn't look down, I just looked at him. He looked up a little then back down. "Dammit Luke," I whispered, going back to my paper, "You seriously got something."

There was a noise by the door and it opened, a woman in the doorway. "Hey Mum," Luke said, standing up. She walked inside the house and shut the door. "Are you guys studying?" she asked, a confused look spread over her face. "Yea," I replied. "That's new," she said with a laugh as she set down her bag on the counter. I looked over at the clock, my eyes going wide. "I have been here for a few hours?!" I asked shocked. "I saw your mum at the store," His mum explained, "You could run home right now and probably wont get into tons of trouble." I grabbed my bag and said goodbye to Luke before running out the door. I ran down the street and to the right to my house. I raced behind the back and in through the back door. I heard a noise in the driveway and raced up the stairs to my room.

My room had silver walls and posters. There was a mic stand in the corner next to my white desk. I put my bag on my chair before sitting down on my bed. "Queen?!" Yelled my mum, "Theo!?" I quickly threw on some shorts and a t-shirt and rushed out the door, putting on socks as I was walking. My twin brother, Theo, walked out of his room and looked at me. "You're such a mess," he whispered, rolling his eyes. He walked down the stairs as I was behind him. "I ran into Luke's mum at the store," she told me as I walked in. I smiled and stood next to my brother. My brother and I each had jet black hair and blue eyes. She eyed us before turning to the pantry. "Jason is coming over in an hour for the video," Theo informed her. She rolled her eyes and looked at us. "I don't want this band to take over your life," she informed us, "You guys each have to grow up and get actual jobs." Our band was actually pretty popular but she didn't care about that. We were called 'Unknown rejects'. Don't ask me, the boys picked it out. Jason has been our friend for a really long time and was Theo's best friend. Also, another thing you shouldn't ask my family.. Why my brother and I have such weird names. Leo isn't that bad but my name, for heavens sake. I guess my only excuse is that my dad named me, and he is well... himself.
