I sort of avoided Klaus the rest of the car ride. If he spoke to me, I would give him one worded answers such as; Yes, No, Sure, and or, Whatever.
But now, we were in New York City. This city has always been a painful reminder of what I once had, and what I would never have again.
"What's New York like in the summer time?" he asked, nuzzling his nose into my neck.
"It's nice. Loud and busy, but nice." I told him, sighing as he held me tighter. He kissed my cheek and I smiled up into his brown eyes.
"Like you." he laughed. I gasped and hit his shoulder. "I'm kidding, love. You know that."
"Aurora." a voice said, shaking me out of my memory. Looking up, I realized it was Niklaus who was shaking me. "Are you alright, love?" he asked, looking at me with a worried expression.
"I'm fine." I said, stepping backwards and out of his grasp. "Just some bad memories of this city, is all."
"Well, if that's it. I guess we can go now." Klaus turned around. I noticed then that the rest of the group was waiting for me. Running, I caught up with them.
"Sorry for the delay." I apologized. "Lets go."
"Here." I said, looking at the old house. It was on the outskirts of the city, but close enough to get to places if need be.
"Well, this is... different." Kol stated, walking towards the house.
"Wait." I put a hand up, stopping him. Picking up a rock from the ground, I pressed it into my palm so hard that it began to bleed. And, when my blood was on the rock, I chucked it at the house. Before the rock even got close, it was bounced off an invisible force. "Thought so."
"A magical barrier?" Klaus asked, chuckling. "That's great. How do you expect to get in there?"
I closed my eyes, putting full concentration on the spell surrounding the house. Making a hole in the wall of magic was generally hard, and would kill a normal witch. But, I wasn't normal. Walking forward, I pushed through the wall. My body felt the restraints, and soon enough, the force of being inside an uninvited yard was burning. I opened my eyes with a gasp, my breathing halted.
Turning around, I faced the four originals. With a wave, I used a part of the rest of my energy to walk up to the door and knock. When it opened, a girl smiled at me. I looked into her eyes and compelled her to allow me and my friends inside. She nodded, and let us in.
"Easy." I told them as we all sat on the couch in the old house.
"How did you do that?" Elijah asked. I shared a knowing look with Rebekah, before turning to him and shrugging.
"I just did." I told him, yawning once again. That's when I felt it. The tug.
"Aurora, you don't look so well." a voice said. The faces around me blurred, before everything went black.
'Third Person P.O.V.'
Klaus watched as Aurora's face paled, her eyes began closing, and her breathing became unsteady.
"Aurora, you don't look so well." Kol said, looking at the girl next to him. Aurora looked around, before her face went completely white, and her eyes closed. She fell backwards onto the couch, her head hitting the wall behind it.
"What the hell?" Elijah asked, jumping forward. That's when it came out, the blood. It started coming out of her nose first. "No, what's happening?" Elijah looked around at them all with a startled look. Then, the blood came out of her closed eyes. "Help!" Elijah grabbed Aurora's body and pulled her into his lap, blood getting on his nice suit. "What should we do?"
