Star and Marco entered their school. They saw Brianna handing out flyers and Marco took one. It read "Come to the Blood Moon Ball this Friday at 8. The theme is masquerade so bring your own masks." "Marco, what is a masquerade?" Star asked taking the flyer out of his hands. "It's a dance where everyone wears a mask then you have to find a partner and ballroom dance with them." Marco said as he took the flyer back and walked with Star to their first class. During their math class Star looked over and Marco and saw him writing down notes like crazy. Star opened her notebook and started to draw little doodles. The bell rang and Star walked to the water fountain to get a drink. Star saw Marco walking up to her and he looked kind of nervous. "Hey Marco are you okay?" Star asked as she walked over to Marco. "Yeah, I... I'm fine." The bell rang and Star and Marco walked to their next class. Later that day, Star was trying to choose a dress to wear to the Blood Moon Ball, she saw a pink and white one strap and decided to wear it to the dance. Marco walked into Star's room and said "Star, I have to tell you something."
