It all happened so fast. There was a knock on the door. Zoie screamed. Chloe ran. But I just sat there, as if I expected it.
The heavy, metal door was knocked over. And smoke blacker than black was flowing into the room. Soon enough, it was all dark. I couldn't see anything but Zoie and Chloe. Zoie's eyes looked as if they were made of molten rock. Just like in the dream.Chloe screamed something about my eyes being black. Just like in the dream.
I stayed silent. I felt like I should say something, but I didn't. Chloe was soaked in water. Zoie's hair was on fire, but it stayed the same color. Just like in the dream. I realized it was all part of Chloe's dream. I realized it was all part of my dream. I felt natural here, like I had known this place from somewhere.
I tasted something in my mouth that I had never had before. It was tasteless, but heavy. Chloe was freaking out, because she realized it was her dream. She saw my mouth and started screaming louder.
"So my mouth is leaking smoke. That's probably why I have a weird taste in my mouth." I thought to myself. Then something out of the dream happened. There was light. Light and hope.
