Rose POV

"Anthony!" I scream down the hallway.Anthony came running down the hallway sliding on his socks. "WHAT WHAT!!" He screams holding a blade.

I started to sob violently. "The girls! they're gone!" I scream. Anthony laughed. "Why are you laughing!?" I yell. "Because I set them up." Anthony said between chuckles. Why would you do something like that to our sisters. "OUR sisters I think you mean your sisters "said Anthony. What do you mean "my sister's" it's our sisters. "You are not even technically my sister" he said bluntly.

Maddie POV

There's a peaceful quiet about a forest in the middle of the night. Cody and I have been riding for two days and now we walked silently along a deer path. No plans are flawless, this trip included. A large log had fallen in our path it was a little big, but we could jump it.

We were well aware of the log obviously, but what we didn't see was the two foot deep ditch behind it. I decided to jump first. I backed Rusty up and took off towards the log, everything was perfect except our landing. I fell from his back and we both went

down for a moment but we're back on our feet quickly. "Easy boy" I said attempting to calm the frightened horse. After a few minutes of coaxing he let me grab the reins. "Are you alright?" Cody asked as I mounted up. "Yea-" I was cut off by a sharp pain in my head.

"Is it your head again?" she asked with concern. I nodded as Rusty danced nervously under me. I needed to know what caused this. A few days later we arrived in Paris. After more riding we came to a library. Upon consideration we agreed to check it out, so we tethered our horses outside and walked in. I soon found myself wandering the bookshelves. How can I find something when I don't know where to look?! I notice one book, Rose's favorite. I pull it

off the shelf and looked through it. I know she must be worried, we'd left no note or anything to say we were going. I would apologize as soon as we returned home. "Maddie?" I turned to see a boy about my age staring at me in disbelief. Before I could reply he ran up and hugged me. "We thought you were gone!" he said, still hugging me tight. "Excuse me?" I said, puzzled. "Where have you been?!" he asked. "I'm sorry, have we met?" I could see

the hurt in his eyes, disappointed that I didn't recognize him and I immediately felt sorry that I didn't. "Maddie, it's me, Adam" he said. "Sorry I don't know any Adams" I replied. "What are you talking about?" he asked "It's me, your twin brother." A twin brother? As I stared at him out of confusion I could see some resemblance, the same brown eyes and hair as me, in fact he wore a scarf, one of my trademarks. Did he have a scar there too..? No, that was impossible. Despite these details I was doubtful. Yes I want to find my previous family, but someone showing up right when we arrive in Paris seemed too good to be true. "I don't think I have a twin brother..." I said. He looked even sadder at this. "But I have a nasty case of amnesia." I said.

Adam looked at me hopefully. "Do you remember anything?" he asked. "Just my name." I said with a sigh. "Ok. Maybe you can come home, our family's been worried sick."

"I don't know..." I said with uncertainty. I looked into his pleading eyes and gave in. "I guess I'll come for dinner, as long as I can bring my sister, Cody."

I said. Adam smiled and eagerly agreed. I wouldn't mind him as a brother I thought. "Let's go find her." I said. I wondered if she was having any luck with her search.

I've found this so called "brother" perhaps she's found something as well. We found Cody on the other side of the library. "Any luck?" I asked.
