Cody's POV
While Maddie was look for information with her family I was looking for information on the assassin brotherhood in Paris. I was walking down a bookshelf wondering where I would find the assassins. I saw a very old book sitting on the floor, I pick up the book and opened it. It was the history of the assassins. I remember my father reading some of this book to me after training with my brothers. A man came up behind me and said who was the assassin saying "who was the assassin that liberated the people of Italy ." "That would be Mr. Ezio, sir." I responded "Your father taught you well, I have heard what has happened to you and the brotherhood is willing to help you in your cause." The man said. "Your so called sister is coming to get you. Meet me at this address in two nights." The man stated. "Yes." I said. The man disappeared after he spoke. When I turned around Maddie was there, and there was a boy with her.She asked me "Any luck?" "Yes.I think." I responded.
Maddie POV
"Who's this?" Cody asked. "I'm Adam, Maddie's twin brother." Adam responded. "Twin brother?" she asked "I guess..." I replied, still unsure."He's invited us to his house for dinner." I said. "Alright." Cody replied. Adam's eyes lit up when he saw the horses. "You like horses?" I asked."Absolutely." he said, running his hand along the horses' necks. Rusty snorted, unsure about this new stranger. "I have an arabian too." He said, affectionately
petting Rusty, and to my surprise, calming him down. "A mare named Midnight." he said. "I would love to meet her." I said "Of course, your horses can go in the stable or paddock,
whichever you prefer." I smiled, pleased to have found another horse lover. "Thanks." I said. About an hour later we arrived at a large house. "Our family is eager to meet you." he
said. Two people came and took the horses to the stable. As I walked in I was hugged by a large group of people. "Wow." I said. They all asked questions such as "Where have you been?! " I had to say 'I don't know' to all of them and I explained about my memory. Cody and I went to our rooms. Some of the objects were strangely familiar, like I was having a very strong case of
deja vu. That night at dinner I sat shocked. I was finally hearing the truth, all those questions answered. The woman who had revealed herself as my mother told me what had happened. "There was a fire, it burned our village down. You and Adam were very young at the time. We all escaped but were separated from you, we settled here and have been searching for you ever since." "Alright..." I said, still processing this. I winced as the pain in my head returned. "You must have hit your head." My "Father" said. I nodded. Dinner continued on and I learned who everyone was and how they were supposedly related to me. Afterwards I pulled my cloak on and headed for the stable. As I walked in my breath was taken away. The most beautiful pure black Arabian stood in the stall next to Rusty. "Magnificent isn't she?" I turned quickly to see Adam standing behind me. "Definitely, May I?" I said, asking permission to pet her. "Sure."he said. I laid my hand on the mare's neck, she flinched slightly at my cold hands, a trait Rusty had grown used to. "It's late and you've been traveling for a long time, you should get to bed." he said. I was a bit taken back, I wasn't expecting to stay the night but it was understandable, these people have obviously been missing me. "Alright. I just need to groom-" I noticed my horse's coat already gleamed. "I already groomed him, I hope you don't mind." He said. "Thanks, I'll have to return the favor for Midnight." I replied. We both grinned and walked back to the house.
