Cody's POV

I finished writing my letter to Maddie to hear yelling and a scream. I quickly run down the stairs to try to find Rose and Dimitri. Once I get down the stairs I see Dimitri laying on the ground. I rush to him, " where is Rose" I quickly spoke he only said one word " Templars" with a raspy voice then passed out. I look up to see a Templar, not any Templar Haytham Kenway. The one that was tracking me and Berit the other night. " Well, I guess we meet again" he said in very proper british voice. "What do you want" I ask. "Well I just came to collect something of mine." he motioned. "I will not let you hurt my family" I shout. " I did not mean your family, young Novice Assassin" he snarled. "If i was to come with you would you leave my family alone and not bother them" I ask. "Of course I will that young boy Leon not to hurt your sister. Do we have a deal Cody." he implies. " Yes" I say meekly. I packed my things quickly, I was able to send a message to the brotherhood tell them where I would be and the deal. As I walk out of the inn I look at Rose and Dimitri laying there peacefully. "Let you be safe Rose" as I walk out of the inn and mount my horse to follow Master Kenway. Also I held my dear Koala Bruce to my chest so I would not lose Him.

Rose POV

"UP. NOW!!" "5 more minutes?" I roll over and pull what I thought was a blanket over me. Then I noticed it was muscular? Ummm.... Blankets aren't muscular. "Rose get Dimitri up. Cody's in trouble." I sat up hard and fast. I regretted that instantly. "Ow!" I cry out. "Berit? wha...how.... Where is she." I finally growl out. Berit shrugs "On her way to Germany. That's where Leon took Maddie." "Dimitri get up. NOW please." His eyes flew open and tried to focus but did not. He finally stood up. "Where is Cody's guard?" He yelled to one inside. "He said he was escorting her for a walk? Why sir?" the man asked timidly. "They have men on the inside? Would you like me to investigate?" Berit asked, "No you have done more for my family then I can repay you for." Berit smiled "I do not want payment, you all accept me when no one else will that is payment enough." With that she disappeared, literally. After going inside and pacing in front of the fire for twenty minutes she reappeared. "One of your guards followed you outside, the other apparently followed Cody. No one else had any ties with these people." These people. "Who were they?" Berit looked around and waved Dimitri and I closer. "The Templars."
