Discriminated

Chapter 9

    Adam made his way back to the hospital Tommy was in. He swaggered into the room, looking at the floor with his hands in his pocket. He saw Tommy slowly opening his eyes and tilt his head to look at him. Adam smirked at him and took a seat beside him.

 Tommy smiled, "You look hot.."

    "That didn't matter...What matters now is you.."

 "What are you talking about? My neck is fine. I feel great. What's wrong?",

Adam looked at his knees, "Your neck may be fine, but I've got to tell you something.."

     Tommy raised his eyebrows, "What is it, sweetheart?"

  Adam sighed and held Tommy's hand, "Tommy.." Within seconds, tears started to form around his eyes.

    "Adam, what's the matter?"

 Still, Adam began letting all his tears fall to his cheeks.

  Tommy looked away and sighed, then look back at Adam, " Adam, you're making me worried. Just tell me. I can work things out,"

 Then the door opened and the yet the same doctor entered the room. They both looked at him, still holding hands.

   "Sir, can I have a word with you?" He faced Adam with a nervous look on his face.

 Adam turned his head at Tommy and kissed his forehead, giving him a warm sensation in his body. Tommy closed his eyes to enjoy it. Then Adam got up from his seat.

  "Go to sleep,Tommy. You need plenty of rest." Adam smiled to him as he gently wipe Tommy's fringe off his face and once again kiss his smooth forehead. Tommy couldn't help but to smile and cuddle himself to sleep.

  Adam slowly walked to the window and looked outside with one of his hands in his pocket. "Is everything alright?"

The doctor pushed up his spectacles over his nose using two of his fingers and sighed, "Well, no actually. I have just found a way in order to make Tommy have the blood of a human completely again."

  Adam turned his head quickly at the doctor, "You do?"

   "It's not gonna be easy,sir..It--"

Adam cuts him off, "Please, just call me Adam. Adam only,"

  "Ok,Adam. I'm gonna need your help too in order for me to continue my experiment."

Adam sighed under his breath, "What do you want me to do?"

  "We will be needing human blood for your friend here.."

Adam felt a sinking sensation in his body. He knows that he's a vampire. He didn't have human blood in him. But he has to wake up and at least think of who he could get the blood from.

 Adam sighed,"How much blood do you need?"

"Well, not much.I'll give Tommy some of my blood..That's a start.."

 Adam sighed at him,"Oh..Thank you so much..You really have a heart.."

 The doctor smiled politely at Adam. Then Adam looked out the window again,"Is that all? Anything else?"

 "That is all..Please excuse me.." The doctor said as he turned around and leaves the room.

Adam sighed lazily once again and turned his body at Tommy. He strutted slowly towards him and run through his hair with his fingers smoothly. He took a seat beside him and stroked his forehead gently.

 "I have to go, honey..I'm doing all this for you.."

Adam stood up and fished out his phone. He dialled Drake..

 "Hello? Adam, is everything alright?"

Adam scoffs, "I'll be alright..Look, are you busy? 'Cause if not, I wanna meet you at my house.. Got something significant to tell you.."

 "Yeah,sure. When? Like right now?"

 "Definitely.." Then he hung up. Adam flipped his phone a few times on his palm and slid it back into his side pocket. He shot a quick glance at Tommy and whispered.."You'll be fine,Tommy. I assure you."

 He walked out of the door and closed it silently in order not to wake Tommy up. But unfortunately, Tommy's eyes slowly opened..He couldn't believe what he had just heard..

In his heart, he's thinking...Is Adam keeping something from me? That's impossible.. He never keeps secrets...Especially towards someone who he loves the most...
