From Scars to Home

Life is perfect for me here, Lily and I are closer than ever, even though she disapproves of my new brother. James has such a crush on Lily and I think they would be perfect for each other. However Lily disagrees and is now trying to avoid my brother as much as possible.

I love my new family they are all so kind I especially love James because we have so much in common. I have started to become closer to James' friends as well especially Remus. We have all the same classes and often help each other with homework. Peter is okay I guess, but he doesn't talk to me much and stutters when he does. I think he is scared of girls. Sirius is a little strange and likes teasing me but I find it funny because it is only a joke and it keeps my mind of things. Things like my real brother...

I always wear long sleeved clothing and long trousers of leggings. Lily has asked me why a few times but I try and avoid the subject. The reason why I cover up my skin is because it is still covered in bruises and little scratches. I also have a few questionable scars. One particularly nasty scar runs right down my spine from my shoulder blades to my coccyx (tail bone). The only people who know about these are me and the ones who gave them to me. Before I came to Hogwarts I had no possible future, but now the future looks very bright for me. I have a proper family now, friends, and I had finally found a home.
