A/N: Harry Potter belongs to J.K. Rowling (not me, but I wish...) and it is absolutely awesome. If I do not get all the facts correct it is meant to be that way.

Lily's POV:

Today Severus was going to take me to Diagon alley to get school things. The thing that most exited me about this trip was finally getting a wand. I had been waiting all summer for this and now it was the 30th of August.

I got ready putting on a purple t-shirt and some blue 3/4 length jeans, and packing my new trunk with all my things. I was just finishing brushing my long strawberry-blonde hair when the door bell rang. I rushed to the door to find that Petunia had already opened it and was looking at Severus with a look of pure loathing. To stop this I clicked my fingers in front of Petunia's face and walked out of the house with my trunk yelling goodbye to my parents.

Severus was staring at me and I caught his eye, he blushed and looked away. He then offered to carry my trunk for me and I gladly accepted this offer as my trunk was so heavy.

No POV:

Severus helped Lily buy all her things in Diagon alley and when they were done it was late afternoon. The Leaky Cauldron was quite full as Severus opened the door for Lily to walk through. The young bar man, Tom, took their belongings up to their separate rooms and they looked at a menu for tea.

Meanwhile in the outskirts of Diagon alley a young boy and his parents were walking down a barely used road. When they spotted a slightly moving bundle wrapped up in blankets hiding in the shadows. Mr Potter (the young boy's father) approached the bundle with caution after a whispered conversation with his wife. When he got closer to it he heard small sobs coming from the shape.

"Umm...Hello...are you okay?" Asked Mr Potter with concern. Mr Potter is a very kind hearted man and hates it when any creature gets hurt or upset.

The bundle lets out a sniff and two blue eyes peak out and look up at Mr Potter taking in his kind nature and his concerned face. Knowing the stranger was not one to fear the eleven year old girl crept out of her hiding place and approached the cautious man. Mr Potter gasps when he sees the skinny body of the young girl with surprise and shock. He had thought that the sobbing bundle would have been a house elf not a vulnerable young girl in thin clothes several sizes too big. The girl in response to his question shook her head. Mr Potter then gave the girl a bottle of cool lemonade that he had been about to drink and said to her. "Here drink this you will soon feel better."

The girl accepted the drink but then burst out crying again. She picked her belongings up off the floor: Two blankets with holes in and a letter with green spidery writing on the front and ran off round the bend in the path and disappeared and although Mr Potter followed her he had no chance of ever catching up with her.

A/N: New chapter up and I am hoping that this will be a **Double Update**!!!!
