In a summary, the next few decades were in ways extremely boring and eventful. First, of course Sirius returned with a hippogriff named Buckbeak and wanted to keep him:
There was a knock on the door. I opened it up to reveal Sirius and a large half bird, half horse creature; a hippogriff. Sirius hurried in with the bird thing and sat on a kitchen chair. I immediately resumed making lunch as he told me about the last twelve years. The hippogriff laid in a corner staring at me.
"And now I have a hippogriff," Sirius fnished.
"We are not keeping him," I replied eyeing the creature.
"He's actually quite loyal," Sirius reached down and patted the thing.
"Brilliant, a loyal hippogriff," I said sarcastically.
We ended up keeping Witherwings as he was then referred to.
After that I bought Harry some broomstick Sirius begged me to get so he could send it to him:
"He's exactly like James, but with Lily's eyes," Sirius was feeding Witherwings.
"And he plays Quidditch?"
"Yes, expertly."
"Fine, I'll buy the stupid broomstick," That day I invited Mrs. Longbottom to accompany me to Diagon Alley. I dressed in a long robe with a pair of Sirius's Quidditch goggles that James gave him. I had cut my long blonde hair, so it stuck up messily and looked like I was a human candlestick.
That night Sirius plucked a feather off Withwings and wrapped up the broom.
I hid while the Order occupied my house:
"I have to what?" I snapped at Sirius and Mad Eye. They had been trying to explain it to me calmly.
"You have to leave," Mad Eye barked.
"And go where? This is as much my home as it is Sirius's," Mrs. Weasley had walked in. She disapproved of me as much as she did any death eater.
"Somewhere else," she continued to walk up the stairs.
"Fine, but don't expect me to come back," I wiped back a stray tear. "Ever!" On that note I stormed out accioing my clothes out the door with me. Frankly I didn't give a crap if a muggle saw me.
I was pregnant:
I was staying with my mother and father. They disliked Sirius and made a point to show it. When they found out that I was pregnant they were even angrier with Sirius.
I was sitting on my old bed one night when I heard a tapping noise at the window. I was a few months pregnant so it didn't show much, thank god.
I opened my window and saw Sirius balancing on a broomstick. I recognized it as the one I bought Harry.
"What do you want?" I turned my back on him and frowned.
"To say that I'm sorry," He rested his hands on the window sill.
I scoffed.
"Really, I am. I love you," I felt a hand on my shoulder and realized he had climbed into my room. I turned around.
"I wish you'd just go and die or at least get me a divorce," I put my pillow in front of my stomach to hide the small bulge. He noticed.
"Do you need to tell my something?" he pulled the pillow away from me.
"No, other than what do you think it feels like to die?" I asked trying to change the subject.
"Why do you ask?"
"Because I hope you'll die soon."
"I think it'll be quick and easy. Like falling asleep," With that he kissed me and climbed back out the window. I let myself fall back into my bed.
I give birth:
Remus and Nymphadora stood at the end of my hospital bed. They quietly looked at me.
I cradeled my baby. It was snuggled in it's blankets.
"What are you going to name him?" Nymphadora or Tonks as her friends referred to her as chimed in.
"I'm not sure yet." I was ready to forgive my impossible husband after nine months of my parents whining about him. I had thought about it and realized I had never told him that I was pregnant.
"Ooh, what about Teddy?" Dora asked. "I love that name!"
"I think his name will be Rhett," I replied stroking his head.
"Rhett?" Remus inquired.
"Sirius had a book called Gone With the Wind. It was a muggle book," I laughed. "I had just finished reading it when Lily and James died. Rhett was one of the main characters."
"About Sirius," Tonks voice sounded sad.
"What about Sirius?" I demanded sitting up.
"He's dead Tori," Remus answered and told me exactly how he died. I shook my head and started to cry. His last words to me rang through my head: I think it will be quick and easy. Like falling asleep... And my last words to him: ... I hope you'll die soon. I didn't even say that I loved him and now I never would.
