"Who do we have here...."
Emma and Killian turned around quickly. 'The snow queen' Emma thought. Abd she was right.
"How the hell are you back?" Emma's theeth chattered violently now and Killian drew her in tighter.
"Someone brought me back and promised me something I have wanted for a very long time.", she said in a cold voice that sent chills up Emma's spine.
"What is it?", Killian asked. He wasn't better. His lips were blue and his face was pale. The snow queen came towards them slowly and smiled wicketly. She leaned in until her face was in front of Emma's. "Revenge"
Mary Margret was pacing around the room, David was sitting on the couch, a defeatedlook on his face and Regina was sitting at the table thinking. They were all worried about Emma and Killian. They hadn't shown up since Emma called David a few hours earlier.
"Okay tell me excatly what happened. Again.", Regina said to David and stood in front of him.
"Well, Emma called a few hours ago and said it was snowing. So we assumesd Elsa was back or something. She said she was going to search the forest with Killian and that I and Mary Margret should search the streets. After we did that we waited that for them but they didn't came. Regina, she called 7 hours ago. Something happened.", David had tears in his eyes at the thought of his little girl getting hurt.
"Okay we could try a locator potion. Have you something that belonged to Emma?" Snow went updstairs and brought Emma's scarf.
The heroes followed Emma's scarf through the forest. It was pretty cold.
Everyone was freezing. The scars suddenly exploded.
"What's happening Regina?", Snow asked. Regina frowned before she waved her hand and she knew it was magic.
"Magic. Don't worry. I can do that."
A few seconds later there was an entrance to a cave.
All of them followed Regina and held onto their loved ones. They could hear a voice and stopped. Regina stepped forward and tried to get a look. What she could see shocked her. Emma and Killian were in ice cells with ice chains.
Both of them were freezing terribily.
They needed a plan.
"Okay, some of us are going to distract her while the others are going to free them.", Regina whispered. Gold, Snow and Belle were goung to distract her.
It must have worked because a few minutes later there was a loud crash outside the cave. The snow queen looked back at Emma and Killian and then went to look where the noise came from.
Regina, David and Robin ran towards them and freed them. Their bodies were blue and Emma hadn't the energie to open her eyes. David carried Emma, Robin carried Killian over his shoulder and Regina led the way.
It was more difficult to escape the snow queen's cave but they made it. Back at home, Killian and Emma lay on the couch, many blankets placed over them and were fast asleep. They were so exhausted and still a little bit cold.
It was so warm in the apartment it could be a sauna. But they needed it.
It was so cold that nobody dared to go outside. Even a good winter jacket wouln't help you. Regina poofed herself and Robin back to her house and said that if they needed anything, they could just call her. Gold and Belle were back at his shop and Henry was asleep upstairs in his room. Only Snow and David couldn't sleep. If they hadn't found Emma and Killian today, they would be dead by now. They both had bruises on their arms and legs. Surely because they were tortured by the snow queen.
They were so worried. Finally they both decided to go to bed but weren't sure if they should wake Emma and Killian so they could go to Emma's room. But they needed their rest so they let them sleep.
After they bith were asleep, Emma awoke because of the cold. She shivered lightly and tucked the blanked up to her chin and snuggled closer into Killian's side. She took a moment to look at his face. There was a small bruise on his forehead. Just a small scratch but it was still red. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep. Not so dangerous like a few hours ago when the snow queen threatened to hurt Emma and he tried to protect her. He would always protect her. No matter what.
She brushed his hair from his forehead and kissed it carefully, trying not to wake him. But unfortunally, he stirred and opened his eyes. His arm tightened around her waist in a protective way and she snuggled closer to him.
"Hey.", he said, his voice groggy from sleep.
"Hey. How are you feeling?", Emma asked. Even she had a few bruises herself, she still wanted to know if he was okay.
"Just a little bit cold. Nothing more. You? Are you okay?", he was so protective over her.
"Same. I'm just glad they rescued us. That was like hell there." And she was really glad that they both were okay.
"Yeah. But we are safe for now. We just need some rest.", he looked still tired and so did she. They were really exhausted from the cold.
"Yeah, I know. I'm just glad you're okay." She smiled and so did he.
"I know. And I'm glad you're okay. I couldn't take it if something happened to you.", he smiled and leaned into kiss her.
"Same. Now we should sleep. It was a hard day. Goodnight Killian.", she said and started to drift off.
"Goodnight Emma." And he was asleep.
In the morning Snow and David looked really awful. And when she meant awful she really meant awful. They looked like they didn't sleep at all.
They probally had some nightmares about yesterday. The memories were still in their minds. Emma and Killian dead on the floor. Snow screaming and crying. David in shock. And then they woke up.
Emma and Killian were still too tired and were allowed to sleep longer. They had make a plan to deafeat the snow queen again. Maybe if they would cantact Elsa. But one wuestion was still not awnsered.
Why was the snow queen evil again?
