Nobody loved her. Nobody. They all didn't care about her. It was a ago that she and Killian were freed from the darkness. Her parents tried to hide from her but failed. Henry was staying with Regina because he couldn't seem to forgive her. And Killian avoided her.
Everytime she sees him, he doesn't look her in the eyes and then runs away from her.
The town people are afraid of her. She can see it in their faces. They don't trust her. All of them. What had she to live for? Nobody cares about her. She tried to talk to Killian or her parents but they just shake her off. Just like Henry. Regina doesn't trust her either. She is always catious when she's around. She can't live like that. She made bad choices, she knew that, but did she deserve this?
They treat her like she is some evil witch. She tries to talk to all of them but they don't want her. They made it clear. She just wanted a family. Someone who cared about her. What is wrong with her? Why can't she be loved by someone? Is that so hard? Why did she live anyway?
She tried to stop the tears which are rolling down her face. But she wasin so much pain. She didn't sleep or eat for a few days, she felt like a mess. Often she cries herself into sleep in the house where she and Killian should be building a future. But that was hopeless.
She walked on shaky legs towards the docks. Nobody knew about what she was going to do. she saw Killian's ship and decided to see him one last time.
Emma walked slowly on board. She was totally dizzy and she nearly fell over board. ' not yet' she thought.
She saw Killian through a window.
He was at his desk and read a map.
A watery smile was on her face as she realized that this was thw last time she would see him.
She took a last glance at him and walked as best as she could off the ship and towards the water. The weather was pretty cold and so was the water.
She wore her red leather jacket. She wasn't very warm but does it matter? In a few minutes it would be colder anyway until she wouldn't feel anything anymore.
She held the ring Killian gave her and thought about their happy moments in Camelot. The tears came back and her sobs grew louder. Suddenly she was so dizzy she had to hold onto the bench to not fall forward. She took a step forward ready to fall into the ice cold water when two strong arms were around her waist. She was shocked at first but was glad she couldn't fall to the ground anymore. She knew who it was. She could smell him. Rum and the sea. It was Killian. He brought her away from the water and lay her gently on the ground. Emma didn't want to be saved. She didn't deserve a family. She didn't deserve a life.
"No. Please. Don't.", Emma whispered.
Killian felt her forehead and was worried. She was burning up and she was lighter as usual. He supposed she didn't eat anything. He caressed her cheek and took her hand.
"Emma, hey. Look at me. It's going to be okay. Just concentrate on my voice."
He was scared. He didn't know what was wrong with her. She was slipping into unconscious. He took her into his arms bridal style and carried her as fast as he could to the hospital.
Emma awoke to a beeping sound. She opened her eyes slowly and saw something white. Was she in the hospital? She slowly looked around and saw Killian sitting in a chair next to the bed. His head was lying on her stomach and he was fast asleep. She smiled a little and streched out her hand but stopped because she was unsure if she would wake him. 'Why did he save me?' This question crossed her mind.
She saw her phone lying on the table next to her and took it. She was shocked when opened it and saw so many messages from her parents. They were worried. She was so confused.
But then Killian stirred and rubbed his eyes. He looked up and saw her awake.
She saw him smile and then he took her hand.
"Hey Emma, are you okay?", he said and she could hear the worry in his voice. She nodded, suddenly a little bit shy. He smiled and looked at their hands.
