Emma sat on the couch in her house. Where she and Killian should be happy. But they weren't. He was dead.
Tears were streaming down her face. She cried so much she couldn't believe she could cry anymore. Her sobs grew louder by the second. She couldn't stop thinking about it. How she didn't want to let him go. How she cried in her mother's arms. The man she truly loved was dead.

She had a chance of happiness but then it was destroyed by darkness. She could kill Gold. He knew there was a way to save her and Killian without someone dying but he didn't say a thing. He didn't say anything. Only because he wanted his power back.

Her sobs were heard through the whole
house. She looked up and saw a picture of her and Killian on the beach. They looked so happy. Why was that happiness destroyed? Why? She knew
she did some terrible things in her life and si did Killian, but did they deserve this? Did he deserved to end up dead.
She should be the one who was now in hell. He deserved to live. She only cried louder.

Her head lay on her knees and her eyes were closed. She didn't want to see all these pictures of happy moments when she knew that she couldn't have more of them. But then she felt hands and her shoulders. She tensed and looked up. Her father looked down at her with a sad smile and had tears in his eyes, too. Her mother embraced her and she let her. She wanted the comfort but wanted to be alone too. She didn't deserve all of this. Killian did. Emma kept crying until she was too exhausted to do anything else but sleep.

She dreamt of Killian and his beautiful smile. His wonderful blue eyes and his happy laugh. But deep down she knew that she would never see any of that again if she didn't think of anything soon. As Emma awoke, she could hear her parents talk. She kept her eyes closed and pretented to sleep.

"David, what could we do?", Snow asked him. She knew that her mither felt sorry for her.

"I don't know Snow. We have to find a way to bring him back. Look at Emma.
We can't let her go through this." She felt her parents stares. They were looking at her.

"Yeah. We will talk to Regina. Maybe Gold can help us, too. He said he was in the underworld once. Maybe he knows a way to bring him back."

"I hope so.", was the only thing Emma heard before she fell back asleep. Now with a little bit of hope to see her true love again.

The next day, Emma thought it was best to tell the others about Gold. She
wouldn't lie to them again. And also this bastard deserved to be punished.
Emma stood in front of the others. Regina, Robin, Henry, Snow and Charming were sitting at the table.

"What did you want to tell us Emma?", Snow asked. Emma tried to control her anger as she thought about what she was going to say now.

"I have to tell you something about Gold. It has to do with Killian and me."
Tears formed in her eyes as she spoke his name. She took a deep breath and tried to blink them away.

"What is it? What did he do?", Regina asked, interested. She knew Gold wouldn't be a hero for long. If he even was a hero.

"He... He cursed Excalibur. Killian didn't destroy the darkness. His darkness just got into somebody else."
Regina's eyes widened as the truth hit her.

"Gold. He planned this." Emma nodded and looked down at her hands. She didn't wanted to cry more. But she was sure she couldn't keep the tears in for much longer.

"Yes. He knew there was a way to save Killian. But he kept the truth. We could have saved him. He would..... he would be still alive if he just said the damn truth." Emma tried to yell but it only came out as a whisper. The tears were flowing down her cheeks and little sobs could be heard. She was so angry but at the same time so broken.
