Chapter 5 - A little deeper

What the actual just happened?

I walked down the corridor and out the back door towards the Willow tree out the back of my school. I noticed that there was no one there, so I walked up to it and leaned against it. All of a sudden someone grabbed my wrists with a lot of force and dragged me towards them. Before I could let out a sound, their lips collided with mine and at first I struggled in their grasp but I gave up and kissed thm back. Their hands wrapped in my hair with so much need, intensity, I could tell it's a guy. He let go and just disappeared. I couldn't move, the kiss took my breath away. I felt a peck on the back of my head and I turned around to see a little white aeroplane paper. I picked it up and unfolded it.

As I lean against the same Willow tree that the mysterious guy kissed me under, I begin to over-think. I need to know who this guy is. My mind gradually drifts back to History. I have grown up in a supernatural world. I live and breathe with supernaturals. I have spent my life dodging hunters, trying to mask my true identity. What I saw in History, was not new for me, it was a surprise. I have had many vampire friends, and I know what to do if something happens. What I saw on Oliver's face was true beauty, boys like him spend so much time masking what they really are, they freak out when the monster finally comes out of hiding. I don't think of vampire's as monsters, because not all of them are ruthless killers. I have seen their good sides, but I have also seen their bad sides.

I push on my front door and to my surprise it doesn't open. I try twisting the door nob but it doesn't budge. I sit down and pull my phone out of my pocket. I unlock my phone, click on messages and type in a message to my mum,

Hey, I didn't know you were going to be working late?

I also send a message to my sister asking her what's going on. As soon as I click out of my messages a message from Oliver pops up,

Hey darling :)

Hi.

Awwe, beautiful what's wrong?

Nothing.

Okay grumpy bum. How was school?

It was okay. But I don't understand why you continue to bug me.

What do you mean? I thought you enjoyed our conversations?

Pfft. No.

Oh. I'm offended.

Sureee.

What happened at school?

Nothing much.

Nothing exciting?

Nope.

Oh. Well something happened to me today.

Is that so?
