"And you won't tell me your reason why, because...?!" Max asked.

"Well, maybe because you'll hate me for it." Fang shrugged as they walked through the halls of their house back in Florida.

"Look, it's fine if you killed him...he almost killed our family. Besides, he's not the Dylan we loved." Max said.

"Okay, okay...we did. But it was for the best." Fang said.

"I understand." Max nodded once they arrived in the kitchen, where their kids, Ally, Alex, and Amalda sat with the rest of the flock three days after the explosion in Russia.

"Mommy! Daddy! We made cookies!" Ally beamed.

"They may not be great though...Alex left them in too long." Amalda laughed as she glared at Alex.

"So where were you guys?" Gazzy asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Running some errands." Fang answered nonchalantly.

"Suuuure." Iggy snickered. Angel gasped and displayed a huge smile on her face. She jumped up and squeezed Fang for some reason.

"Oh, Fang!" Angel squealed, as if in excitement.

"What?" Fang asked, then Angel told him something mentally, "Gah! Stop reading my mind!!"

"Sorry! But there was a glow of nervousness and excitement radiating off you, I just couldn't resist!" Angel giggled as Fang rubbed his temples.

"Just...ugh...don't tell anyone." Fang warned Angel, who just giggled and hummed to herself happily.

"Don't tell anyone what?" Max asked.

"I...can't tell you." Fang answered quickly, and Max only rose an eyebrow in response,

"and why?" Max asked.

"Because...I'll tell you some time...soon. Don't worry. Nothing, erm... life-threatening..." Fang answered, and Angel started squealing randomly with excitement, and Fang just shook his head in response.

"So, when?" Angel asked Fang, bumping his elbow.

"...tonight."

"Max, we need to talk." Fang pulled Max aside to the deck in the back of the house while the rest of the flock and their family were watching tv in the living room. Max peeked back at Angel through the glass door, and she seemed to be going crazy. Fang groaned and sent a glare to Angel, moving her out of their line of sight.

"Sorry about Angel..." Max chuckled. Fang smiled,

"As long as I'm with you." Fang took her hand and held it as they stood at the railing, looking at the stars and the full moon.

"Hey, a full moon! You know, crazy things happen when there's a full moon out." Max said, "Gazzy said that on these nights, humans can turn into wolf-human hybrids...apparently, he hasn't been around enough Erasers." Max laughed, slowly making Fang's lips purse into a smile. Of excitement.

"So, how's...?" Fang asked as he held her stomach.

"Getting there. Can't feel anything yet, though." Max smiled warmly as she put her hand on his.

"Good. Anyways, um...speaking of Gazzy..." Fang cleared his throat.

"Yeah?" Max asked.

"He was right. At the beginning of the week. We really had no legal approval to do...that." Fang said.

"What do you mean?! Whatever he says, it doesn't matter! I mean, we're not legit citizens, you know!"

"I know, I know. But still, even if we were legit citizens, it'd still be illegal. Which is why... I have a very important question." Fang swallowed hard, and Max immediately felt extremely nervous,

"Yes? What question?"
