Chapter 1

Hayden's POV

I woke up to the beeping of the alarm. 'The person who made those things should be touched.' Turning over to stare at it, 6:00 in neon green. Getting up I grabbed a random shirt and a pair of black jeans, I walked to the bathroom. I was about to brush my teeth when, "Hayden, get out my turn to use the bathroom!" Why the my sister had to be the spawn of Satan. "Sorry, but the little princess has got to wait like the rest of humanity." I yelled through the door. I opened the door after showering and getting dressed. "Thanks for taking forever. Its not like that made you any more attractive." Dawned yelled at me. "Your welcome, princess. I don't think that you understand what it is like to be pretty any way." I walked down the stairs but before I got in to kitchen Rebound jumped at me. I walked over to pet his head and let him outside. "What are you doing? You need to make me Breakfast!" I turned to faced Dawn. "I was showing rebound where the magical portal to Narnia is. What do you think I was doing?" I open the fridge grabbing the ingredients to make omelettes. After I finished my omelette, I heard Rebound scratching at the door. I let him in and fed him the leftovers of my food.

Arriving at school I ran in to Heather, the biggest prick in the school. "Hey, there hottie. What say you and me go out this Friday?" She smiled flirtatiously. "How 'bout I refuse you storm off and we call it a day? No." I responded and she looked mad. "This is the part where you look shocked try to say something, close your mouth with a huff, and storm off." She did exactly what I said except that instead of huffing she shouted in frustration. Smirking I started down the hall. "Hayden! Wait up." Turning around to see Jace out of breath, and with the biggest grin on his face. I groaned "What did you do?" Jace's grin got even bigger if that was possible. 

"Well, before school I grabbed this." He said showing me a foot ball, not just any football either. Mike Marson's football, he is the senior caption of the football team and he was twice Jaces size. Mike came storming down the hall, he turned to see Jace. "YOU!" He said pointing at Jace "You have my ball." I grabbed the ball from Jace and handed it back to Mike. "Here take it." Mike growled at me "This isn't about the soccer team and the football team, this is about me and him. Mind you own business." He shoved me and I fell to the grown. 

"HEY!" Jace yelled at Mike "Leave him out of this. Your right this is between you and me, so don't bring Hayden into it."I looked at him in shock "Jace you dont know what your getting into. Think about this." I tell him. "Okay, then if you want to fight, then lets fight. Behind the school, lunch time. One on one, me and you." He said before walking down the hall. "What are you doing, your going to get yourself killed." I told Jace nearly yelling. Normally I wouldn't care what happens to others but Jace was different. "I can take care of my self , Hayden." He grinned like the Cheshire Cat. 'He doesn't know what he's getting himself into.' I thought to my self.
