I look up in confusion, and my eyes widens as I realize that I am staring at the Oracle. I quickly falls down on one knee and bow my head to Her.
- My Oracle.
I say with wonder as I look up at her.
She smiles at me and the light around her becomes stronger, so I have to cover my eyes with my cap.
"Here does not shielding my eyes with my hands work."
- Stand up Freya. You do not need to treat me like the Allfather.
I stand up with suspicious eyes.
- I thought that it was our duty to treat you like them.
The Oracle smiles again and ones again I need to drag down my cap.
- It is not your duty to do that. But you all do it anyway.
The Oracle looks at me with kind eyes and I can't help but to smile at her.
Suddenly, my feet are surrounded with her little flames and I can hear something like tiny voices coming from them.
- There, there girls. Don't burn her feet. You always get so excited when you meet the Chosen one. Calm down and back away from her if you could be so kind.
I look up in shock again as her little flame friends backs away from me a little. Now I can hear what they are saying.
- Chosen one. She is the Chosen one.
- Wait? Chosen one? Did you say Chosen one?
The Oracle looks at me and nods her head.
The shine around her becomes calmer as she walks closer to me and when she stands right in front of me, the light is nothing more than a little aura around her.
- I know that you think that I have decided that you should not get any powers. But that is not my intention. The reasons that I have not called onto you before is simply for that your powers took longer to get ready than the others. But now I can give them to you.
As she speaks, she reaches out her hand and takes my right one.
I look at her with so many questions that I don't know where to start. She smiles at me again and I smile back at her.
Then I feel this warmth in my right hand. I look down and my eyes widens as I see that my whole hand is glowing very bright. I look back at the Oracle and for a second, I see Christopher's eyes instead of hers rainbow ones. But it is enough for me to try to snatch my hand away from her grip. She is a lot faster than me and her grip becomes stronger.
- Calm down Freya. I am not your enemy. Those out there are. I will not hurt you if you calm down. You have to see past your fears now. They can't hurt you here.
- That's easy for you to say. You haven't been called "Nothing"by everyone apart from your family.
The Oracle twist my hand around and forces me down on my knees again. She stares at me with blood red eyes and I stare back in terror.
- I was just like you before I become the Oracle. I choose to become the Oracle instead of becoming the Chosen one. I know more than well how it is to be called that you are nothing until you really think that you are nothing. Don't judge someone before you really know them. I haven't always been the Oracle. I was once like you. I had nothing out there to live for. So, I choose to become the Oracle. I had nothing and now I have more than what those who broke me out there has. So, I do know how it is to be like you Freya.
I stare in shock at the Oracle and she loosens the grip around my hand. I stand up slowly and I start to feel more like her and not like something underneath her.
One of her little flames flies up to us and lands on her shoulder. She looks at it and it whispers something in her ear, and she smiles. She then looks back at me and looks down at our connected hands.
- She wants to help you overcome the fear of being the Chosen one. She think she knows just the right thing to do.
She lets go of my hand and the little flame is quick to fly over and land on it. Even if she is a little flame ball, she doesn't burn me or anything. Instead it feels like something cold is laying on my palm and cools down the burning feeling that I have. I smile at her and I allow the coolness wash over me and force the burning feeling away.
After a while, the only thing I can feel is numbness and the little flame ball flies back to the Oracle and it looks like it sits down on her shoulder. The Oracle smiles again and when she grabs my hand again, I can't feel anything more than the numbness.
- Close your eyes Freya. And let the magic make you the powerful worrier you were meant to become.
I smile at her and when I close my eyes, every memory that I have comes flashing by in front of me. Every memory is in a different color. One is blue, another one is green. But what makes me a little confused is that every memory that I have where I have been bullied is in the color of purple.
"Why are those purple? Why do I even wonder about it?"
The last memory I see before it goes black is of what happened before. Me and Tiffany standing right outside this cave and hugging each other. That memory is in the color of orange. A single tear falls down my face as I feel that I go down on my knees and I can hear the Oracle talking to me before everything becomes quiet.
- Go out there and be my worrier in the world. You are more than you think, and the world is about to see how powerful you can be.
