Chapter 7

As sleepy as I am, I went downstairs to have breakfast. When I reached the kitchen I saw my uncle with deep dark circles under his eyes as he sipped from his coffee. I went and sat next to him and studied him. I needed to see if he was in a bad mood or good mood to talk to him. Since I just woke up, I was also in no mood to handle a pissed uncle. After studying him for 2 minutes, I knew that I had the green lights to talk to him.

"You okay?" I asked him as I stood from the high chair and decided to make myself a tea, to calm myself before handling some assholes. "Are you aware that asshole you are referring to is our mate?" Ugh what with my wolf, isn't he supposed to be in my side?

"No, but do not worry. I will be fine" He told me, but then he mumbled to himself "as if". I did not know if I should confront him or not about what he just said, since he seems tired and sick.

"Is there someone I need to kick their ass?" I asked, which made him laugh and I was glad as both my wolf and I felt relief.

"Thanks Sawyer" My uncle said as he stood and slapped my back. I smiled at him and I saw him as he took the stairs to what I assumed is going to be his bedroom to sleep.

As I made my tea and drank it, I checked if everything was with me as in my phone, wallet and car key. After checking if the stove is of I walked outside to my car, but of course the assholes were still there.

"I thought I told you to fucking stop following me" I told the bodyguards that were outside my house for the past few days.

"What the fuck are you robots?" I asked them and they again did not answer me. I been trying to make them say something to me, but no no talked. The only thing I heard from them was when I ran from them and one of them screamed, "He went to the left side"

"Why the fuck am I even trying with you guys" I told them or more of to myself, since they do not answer back.

"You know what, I will call the fucking police and tell them that you are bothering me and you have been following me the whole time" I told them and then FUCKING FINALLY ONE OF THEM TALKED!

"Call the police." the tallest one among them said. The fuck does he mean call them? I will fucking kill him. I took my phone out and pressed 911 and showed them

"I press?" I screamed on them and they all looked bored out of their mind.

"The police chief is from our pack and he is informed about this." the same guy said and man does he has a great fucking poker face.

"Did you tell your alpha that I DO NOT need fucking protection?" I asked.

"Our job is to follow the alpha's order without questioning him" he said and put his sunglasses back on and stood where he was standing before he talked to me.

"That fucking assholes, I will show him" I went to my car and drove to the fucking asshole office, I will show him putting bodyguards when I fucking told him I don't need one or more than one even! It is as if my words enters from an ear and comes out from his fucking ass. As I drove I saw them following me, I sighed and focused on the road till I reached the building. I parked my car and walked to the building.

As I entered the lobby I saw Emily and walked to her. When she saw me walking to her I could see her body tensing. I mean I would do too if I were her, since a week ago I came here and troubled her with her stupid fucking asshole boss. "How many times do I have to tell you stop talking shit about our mate?" I decided to ignore my stupid wolf for the millionth time today.

"Hello Emily" I smiled so hard, showing her my teeth. Maybe my smile will make her help me?

"I have no idea what you want, but no Sawyer" She said, as she tried moving away from her seat, but I was able to hold her hands.
