Chapter 27

Third of point of view:

Everything is a mess as they tried getting ready to get Sawyer and Noah back. Oliver, Mors and Valdus came up with a plan on how to attack the warehouse where the rouges and hunters are hiding. As for Sawyer's parents, Oliver asked his friend who is an Alpha called Martin to look for them and bring them back. Martin's pack were always good at tracking people down and to make them better on their job is that Martin actually works for the FBI. When Sawyer and Noah went missing, Oliver asked for Martin's helped, but Martin informed him that he couldn't do it especially since he doesn't want to get between rouges and hunters. He specifically avoids anything that could bring harm to his human mate Robbie. Which, at first pissed Oliver, but he would understand, especially when not a lot of people know about Robbie and Martin's relationship.

Valdus was still in pain and he knew when the fuckers told them that the hunters and rouge are killing Noah and Oliver slowly, they really meant it. He knew as soon as he got his mate, he was going to lock him up and never let him out of his sight and he we will do whatever he can to win his mate over. Valdus is planning to pamper his mate and away from everyone and maybe take him to his own island where he knows no one will bother them there.

Valdus brought a chunk of his men to get back their donna and they were all angry and ready to bring him back. Even though Noah has always been a trouble maker and loves to annoy Valdus men, they loved their donna. He was something new that they needed in their life, especially since they lived for so long and the house has always been sad and depressed. Some of the men were happy that maybe now they can finally die as they were tired of living for so long and not aging and they can't even produce with their mates because of the curse.

On the other hand, there was Mors. The vampire king who never cared or gave a shit about werewolves knew how they were all about troubles. He never thought he would ever help or do anything to support them. He never agreed with their style of living anyways, especially since they tend to blend with humans. Which is a huge risk, because it encourages people having and doing whatever they pleased without asking their leader or having a council to control them and this is breaking them. Instead of having an alpha that they feared from or ask to provide money or anything extra, they will do whatever they can to go against their leader. Humans and Werewolves were pathetic, and he was tired of their bullshit. However, the only reason he agreed to help because the missing person is his beloved nephew who he considered to be as his son.

When Mors met Lucas for the first time, he was disappointed that this tired human was his mate. On the day they mate, Mors was mingling with Humans and somehow, he passed through his beloved who just finished a 24 hours shift and decided to commute either by public transport or walking, but now Mors changed his mind on Lucas. Turned out his man was stronger than he looks, he is what he needs in his life and that is a person who completes him. His kingdom needs someone who balances him and that is Lucas, while Mors did not give a shit and always just decide to end things by killing someone, Lucas does the opposite. He loved to be around their people to talk to them and see what they need, instead of making a quick judgment he loved to hear their reason and gave them a chance.

Mors people loved their king's beloved and were excited for them to mate, yet what is stopping them from mating is for Lucas to be okay to turn into a vampire. He cannot have his mate running around the kingdom being human. It is true no one is doing anything to him, because of his guards and since he smells like Mors. However, that does not mean it will stop people from killing him, but it makes them do whatever they can to kill him. As for now, Mors is pissed at his beloved because Lucas wants to come in saving both Noah and Sawyer. He kept telling us that we need someone especially if they are hurt, but we already have a pack doctor from Oliver's pack to help us. Even though his action is angering Mors, he is proud of how strong and dedicated his beloved is to help the one he cares and that is how he knows that Lucas will do amazing for their kingdom and he cannot wait to take him back when all of this is over.
