Hermione:

"You going to get ready for your date with Draco?" My mother asked.

"It's only coffee mum." I replied back.

"A coffee date." Said Blaise jumping over the back of the sofa, to sit beside me.

"Just coffee I keep telling you this." I said out loud once again.

"Okay darling if you say so and Blaise don't jump over the furniture." Mother said to him.

"Sorry." He replied before flipping through the channels.

"Draco takes long to get dressed." I said starting to get bored of waiting for him.

"I'm here." He said coming down the stairs.

"Oh goody, you look nice." Mother told him.

"Thank you." He replied back to her.

"Will see you later." I said to both my brother and mum.

Standing up from where I was sat, I stepped over Blaises legs and walked towards Draco. He was dressed up nice but not in anything you would consider, as being fancy. I had changed into a white high waisted skirt with shorts underneath, just in case, I wore a red and white flowery crop top, with my white sandles wedges.

"You say this isn't a date but you're dressed up pretty good."said Blaise.

"I still can look nice while going for coffee." I said of course the real reason was I wanted him to notice me, not just as Blaise's sister but something more then that.

"True I guess." Blaise replied before turning his attention back to the tv.

"You ready to go?" Asked Draco.

"Ready." I replied.

He took his hand in mine and we left for the coffee shop. The place he was taking me to was a fifteen minute walk. I didn't mind really seeing as the weather was nice and hot. You could tell the sun had been doing some good for Draco. His skin was looking more tanned, then its usual pale colour.

"Rose dear." Said an elderly woman stood by a cart of red roses.

"Yes please." Said Draco paying the women as she gave him a rose.

"Here." Said Draco placing the red rose into my hair."It looks great on you."

"Oh ermm..... Th- Thanks." I shuttered trying so hard to hide my all of sudden blush, that had decided to creep up on me.

"Lets go." Said Draco once again taking my have and squeezing it tight.

I nodded my head in reply and we once again began our walk. We soon arrived outside the coffee shop, the building was small and old fashioned. The Windows were painted a white colour and was wooden as well as the door, in the window was laced curtains. Inside was light brown circler tables with wooden chairs.  On each table was a small, thin, black vase with a sing Lily in them.

"How many?" Asked a woman who looked to be in her late twenties.

"Two please." Draco told the woman.

"This way please." Replied the women leading us to a table near the window.

"What would you like?" She asked.

"Can I have a tea. " I told the woman looking at her name tag to read 'Sarah'.

"For the young gentleman." She asked turning to Draco.

"A coffee please." Draco said still looking through the menu.

"Anything else?" She asked.

"Could I have steak pie and chips, what about you Mione?"Draco asked looking up at me from the menu, he passed it over to me.

"I'll have the chicken and chips with gravy." I told the woman as I looked through the menu.

"I'll have gravy as well if that's alright." Said Draco.

"So one steak pie, gravy with chips. One chicken, chips and gravy, one coffee and one tea." She said reading our order back to us, before leaving.

"So tell me about your childhood?" Draco asked.

"I don't know where to start." I replied.

"Anywhere." He said back to me.

"Well when I was younger I didn't have friends, you know being different and all, of course I didn't know I was a witch at the time. I use to take ballet, street and jazz classes as a kid but coming to Hogwarts, I ended up stopping. I was always busy with studying. I hope to go back when I leave school." I told him.

"That's great, I think Pansy does dance as well. Maybe you could start a class." He suggested.

"Maybe, so what about your childhood?" I asked.

"I was spoilt of course being the only child to pure blood parents. I had to learn at least one musical instruments, so I ended up learning to play the piano. My dad was always tough on me, he wanted me to be the best." Draco told me.

"Here is your food and drinks." Said the woman from before, placing our order on the table.

"Thank you." We both said before she left to help some other people.

"Do you ever wonder how your life would be, if you been with your real family from the start?" Asked Draco.

"I do but I wouldn't change anything my adoptive parents helped me, become who I am today. I don't know if I would have been friends with Harry, Ron or Ginny. I would hope I still would have been." I replied taking a sip from my tea.

"I don't think who your family is, should matter when it comes to friendship. I wish I had realise that sooner, I wouldn't have treated you so badly." Draco said.

"It's okay it's all in the past now." I said taking his hand.

"Thank you." He replied smiling back at me.

"For what?" I asked.

"Being so forgiving." He replied.
