Draco:

We had soon finished and the waitress had come to collect our cups, plates and cutlery. Paying the bill and leaving a well deserved tip. We said out thanks and left. Talking her hand I began to lead her towards the beach, it was starting to get dark and the sea was beautiful to look at when the moon was out.

"Where are we going?" Asked Hermione placing a strand of hair behind her ear.

"I thought you might want to look at the tides come in." I said turning to her.

She was stunning, breath taking even. I think I'm going to tell her how I feel tonight. I want her to know before we return to school. I need to know if she feels the same or even if theirs a small chance she could eventually come to like, as more then a friends. She's the type of girl worth waiting for, the girl people would look for but never find, just a fairy tale girl. She was real, not just some fantasy of mine. I have fount that girl everyone looks for.

I was going to wait till we got to the beach before I said or did anything but seeing how the street light reflects on her. I couldn't help my self. It was like my heart was beating a song when ever I looked at her. Pulling her to me I planted my lips on to hers. Her lips tasted like strawberries and my heart was beating faster then before. She pulled away and just stared at me.

"I'm sorry I don't know why I di-" before I could finish my sentence she cut me of by once again introducing her lips to mine.

Pulling away I rested my forehead against hers, staring into her hazel eyes. I could see the moon and tides reflecting in them. I smiled down at her, as she smiled back. A faint pink blush spreading across her cheeks. I took her hand in mine. Walking down the steps to the beach. I sat down behind her wrapping my legs and arms around her small figure, as she lent back into me. Her haired smelled like tropical.

"I truly like you Hermione and no, I don't mean as a sister or just in a friends way, way more then that. I know I have treated you so badly and it's unforgivable what I did but I want you to know before we return tomorrow." I told her.

"Draco it's fine and I forgive you for everything you did in the part, it's time for moving on, also I like you in the same way. I just didn't think you would feel the same." She replied back, turning to give me a peck on the cheek.

"Mine?" I asked.

"Yours." She replied.

We spent of the night cuddling up to each other. One of use should really have thought to bring a jacket out with us. I couldn't stop smiling knowing I could now call this beauty mine. Watching her trying to get as close to the sea, without getting wet by the tide, running away ever time it comes in. The feel of her arms wrapped around my torso. Sitting together watching the tides comes as the moon reflected against the sea.

"We should be heading back." I said as she walked back toward me, wrapping her arms around me.

"Sure lets me just put on my shoes." She said looking up at me. I lent down to kiss her on the lips.

"Pick up your shoes. I'll carry you." I said.

"You sure?" She asked.

"Yes I'm sure." I replied.

She went to grab her shoes, coming back over to me I crouched down, allowing her to climb on to my back. She wrapped her arms around my neck and legs around my waist, she then laid her head, against my back. I could feel the warmth of her breath against my neck, not that I minded at all.

"Hermione." I quietly said there was no reply back from her.

she must have fallen asleep. I continued the walk home being careful not to wake her. All I could think about on the walk back was how perfect this night had gone. It was better then expected, I truly thought we would be returning back as friends still.
