Chapter 11

Pov Jessica

The elevator doors opened and we were greeted by Pepper.
"Hi" I said shyly and waved
She looked up from her clipboard and smiled.
"Hello miss Jessica" she said
Thank god she didn't say what the robot said.
"How are you?" She asked.
As much as I wanted to say I feel like shit and I don't want to talk to anybody I was raised better then that. They were trying to help me. Even thou I had a feel that they really didn't care about my problems and they just had to look like they did.
"I ok" I said looking at my feet for they became the most interseting think in the world.
"Well I'll bring you to your room"
"Oh , ok" I said. I had a lingering feeling that Tony was not there.
We went up stairs and down the hall. The wall were a blue and gold color. I liked it.
"This is your's" Pepper said jestering to the 3rd door on the left.
Thankfully there were name plates on the door.
But what I didn't like was what it said.
Jessica Stark
"Um,"
"Is something wrong?"
"I... I dont want to come off rude but could you .... um .... change the name plate to my real name. Please."
She looked at the name plate and look back at me. I think she got the hint.
"Ok I'll get it replaced." She said handing me a . A card.
"Everyone gets one to there rooms for privite. And so they can enter the tower as
well." She explained.
I noded.
So many rules.
"Um. Thanks"
"I'll leave you to get settled." She said and left.
I inhaled and used the card to opened the door. There was a beep and the door opend on its own.
I walked in and to my surprise it look almost like my old room ( well besides my stuff that was inside the boxes being brought here) the layout was my old room just slightly bigger and little ... well that's and understand, a lot more high tech.
Now I feel bad about the name plate thing but the reason I want my old name was because I didn't to forget my mom. I know it petty, but I had a feeling that he (Tony) would try to get me 'things' and I'd expect him. Well he was sadly wrong. Not saying I won't give him a chance I am. I mean he didn't know I existed let alone his kid. So I will but its a very find line. I want to get to know him as a person then the other way around. I want to known his strength and weaknesses so that I know him not what magazines and news reporters say about him.
"This is a new start! Im going to try mom. I'm going to prove your wrong and make you proud!" I said
"That the spirit miss" came Jarvis voice.
