Marama POV

The joy inside me is bubbling from the thought of finally having someone from my real family. Someone I know will keep me safe and love me. I don't have all of my memories, but I remember enough to know that the Doctor, my Dad, loved me so much. This has to be just as exciting for him as it is for me! The joy inside me is almost too much and I can feel my second heart getting weaker, and the pain sets in, but I don't want to let on that I am in pain. I want the joy n this moment to last for as long as I can make it, but I see the huge grin on his face go from pure, to fake in the blink of an eye. "What's wrong?"
"What do you mean? I'm fine! I just can't express how overly thrilled I am to have you back. It's amazing!" He made every word sound sincere, but I could tell he was upset. Something about him was different.
"I know something is wrong. I don't know how I do, but I know. You're upset. You're really upset. Is it because of my other heart?" I really didn't want to bring it up, but I knew that was the reason. He slightly flinched when I said it and it hurt my hearts more just to know that was why he was upset. "You know I'm gonna make it through this, right? I have the greatest father in the entire universe. You are far more intelligent than any being on any planet, and you are someone that fights, I know you are. You won't let me go again...and I'm not letting go either."
"You are my daughter. I know because you encourage others in the worst times and push when everything is looking like it is the end. When your heart finally gives out you have two choices. You can fight and regenerate, you may risk losing your memory again, but I can fix that, or you may not be able to regenerate in time. When the time comes, you need to be in a safe place or you won't be able to have a chance at regenerating." He got up and began pacing, the look of concern on his face said everything.
"I know I will make it through this. If I can survive an entire Dalek army and find the strength to escape, and live the past 3 years with a barely living heart, then I know I can make it through-" I couldn't finish the last part. The entire Tardis began to shake and I fell off the bed to my knees. The Doctor jumped up and helped me to my feet.
"Are you okay?" I'm starting to heart the protective father voice that he used so often when I was younger.
"Yeah I'm fine. A better question would be, is the Tardis okay, or what was that?" I went to the door and raced to the console of the Tardis. I reached for the door and threw it open. Outside I could see the green grass and earth like features. In the sky I could see a giant ship and hundreds of Daleks swarming the planet. I can see them everywhere. More Daleks than I saw the last time.
"Marama, no!" I heard my name come from the Tardis, but I didn't want to listen to it. I wanted to fight, and protect this world, even if I never fit in. My chest throbbed in pain and I could feel my heart giving up. I fell back into his arms and felt him embrace me tightly.
"Dad, my hearts can't take it anymore. It's giving up. It hurts." I could even hear my voice getting weak. My body has nothing left to fight with.
"You stay here in the Tardis and I'll be back before anything else goes wrong. I promise I will come back." He set me down in a chair within the Tardis's console, then gave the Tardis instructions before he raced out the door. "Send a signal to my sonic if she gets worse, and keep her second heart beating until I get back. Don't let her die on me."
I watched him as he ran out the door, then after it shut I could hear the monotonous voices of Daleks yelling, "Doc-Tor! We have found the- Doc-Tor. Repeat. We have found him."
I got scared for my father's safety. I didn't know what to do, that's when my inner Time Lord mind started to work. "Show me my Father on the screen. I need to see what's going on."
"I don't think that's a good id-" I didn't even let her finish. I flipped a switch and there he was on the screen. Thousands of Daleks surrounded the Tardis. My Father was out in the middle of them, fighting as best as he could, but he needed help.
"What can we do to help him?" I wasn't gonna let him fight alone.
"Initiating contact with Jack Harkness." She is gonna help me! I knew she wouldn't just leave him with no help.
After a few minutes of listening to a ringing sound, a man finally answered, "Hello? Doctor, what's up? You rarely call me from this number."
"Is this Jack Harkness?" I basically screamed at him.
"It is, who is this?" He sounded more shocked than confused.
"Hello, I'm gonna make this quick. My name is Marama. You helped stitch me back together, and come to find out I am the Doctor's daughter. My father is in great danger and I need help before he kills himself. Please!" I spoke quickly and frantically. I needed help and I knew that I was too weak to be able to help myself.
"Okay come get me. If you are calling form this number then I know you are in the Tardis. I'll get there a million times faster by Tardis than I will by anything else."
"Alright I will. hold on a sec. Tardis, how do I get to the location of Mr. Harkness?"
"Let me handle this." She began to roar with power, and I could feel her moving around. I looked at the screen and saw the Doctor turn around and watch us go off. Fear written all over his face, but that was it. That was all I saw of him and we were gone.
We landed and I ran out the door to see a man and a few others gathered in front of me. "Okay, we have to go now. Everyone in the Tardis." Jack took control of the operation instantly and I found myself back on the Tardis within seconds. "I thought your name was Lucy?"
"It is. I mean it was...on earth. But the Doctor found out that I am his long lost daughter, Marama and didn't remember himself that he had a kid until he used the Tardis scanner.." I told him everything. I told Jack and the people around him everything as fast as I could.
"Okay then quick introductions. I'm Jack, the girl with black hair is Gwen, the man next to her is Owen. The other two are Toshiko and Ianto. I have known your father for a while now and I am always going to be here to help him. Tardis, show me the Doctor on the screen, please." He showed up as we began to land. The scene was not pretty. More Daleks have arrived and my father is no where to be seen. The sight of so many Daleks hurt my heart so badly. I could feel it getting weaker and weaker.
I fell to the floor, crying. Jack ran to me and check my vitals and moved me to a chair. "Please get him back here safely. I need him." My voice quiet as a mouse, and I know I have tears all over my face. I am in a great deal of pain and I know that I have very little time leftbefore I have to attempt to regenerate.
"Gwen, you stay with Marama. The rest, you come with me. Owen, you will be in charge of helping me find the Doctor and get him back here as quickly as possible. understood?"
"Yes sir," Owen responded and then they were out. Gwen helped me to a chair and we watch the screen as they all went to fight the Daleks. We watched and waited for them to come back, but they were lost from our vision.
An hour later we heard Jack call back on the radio, "Gwen, get out here. We need you."
She prepared to go out and fight. Her last words to me were, "We will find your father. Don't worry. He is a fighter, just like you. He's alive, and you will be okay." With that I watched her run out the door and disappear from my sight. I curled up and hid my face from the screen. I didn't want to see what was going on. All I knew was that my heart was ready to give out and I was completely alone again.
