"Would you like anything to drink?" Asks the flight attendant. She smiles at me, her free hand gesturing to the cart she has infront of her.
"No, thank you." I reply, returning her smile. As she leaves, i sigh. "Everything okay sweetie?" My mom asks, shifting so shes facing me. I nod my head assuringly. "Yes mom. I just cant wait to see dad, thats all."
We were flying out to Nevada, then California to see my dad. His job transferred him to Cali because buisness was apperantly booming there. My sister, mom, & I havent seen him a little over a year, & my mom thought it'd be fun to surprise him.
"Flight 095 to Nevada will be landing in 5 minutes, thank you for your patience." Crackles the overhead. I smile, finally happy to get off of the plane & stretch. I nudge my sister, Nalla, whose fast asleep. "Pst. Al, wake up. We're about to land."
I watch my sister as she moves from side to side, stretching her legs & arms. She rubs her eyes tiredly. "Thank god." She crosses her arms over her chest. "We've been on this crappy plane forever." I roll my eyes at her comment, not caring if the plane is crappy. Atleast we're leaving Hawaii.
