Chaptr 3

Lisa POV
I honestly felt so bad for Shane.
I am kinda scared to meet his mom.
We ended up taking Shane's car.
"So..... What do you do for a living?" Shane asked.
"Well I own a children theater and direct plays there"
"That's really sweet of you!", Shane said smiling.
"Ya, well it's really fun to have children around you know".
"Nope not really", Shane said.
"What?" I said shocked.
"I mean they are cute until they start crapping everywhere" Shane said laughing.
I started to laugh.

Shane POV
I bet she's curious why I'm not crying but I'll just tell her anyway, I thought.
"You may be wondering why I'm not really tearing up and everything..."
She just looked at me with a smiling face.
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to", she replied.
"I want to tell you though because I feel like I can be open with you".
"Okay.... Hit me"
"Well....... Let's just say my dad wasn't the best dad ever. Not even close to that..... He was kinda a jerk to me and my brother. It was real hard for us because when we came home from school hoping that he wasn't drunk so he would not abuse us."
I looked over and she looked like she was trying to process all the info.
"Sorry if that was too much" ,I said feeling bad because I may have made her uncomfortable.

Lisa POV
He wasn't kidding that he felt he could really open up to me. I felt bad. "No that was not to much".
We pulled into his moms driveway.
There house looked so pretty.
We got out of the car and I walked around the car with my arms wide and said "you need a hug, buddy".
We hugged and then Shane's mom started to open the garage.
