Chaptr 9

Lisa Pov

The hand helping me up was one of my ex boyfriends.

Traci had seen him before. HIs name was Bart Baker. (Authors Note: who thought it was gonna be Shane?)

"Bart?!?", I exclaimed.

"Lisa?!?"

Bart and I had been high school sweet hearts until he cheated on me and I broke up with him.

"Lisa! Just get up already!" ,Traci said impatient.

I took Barts hand and got up.

"Thanks Bart!", I said.

I then grabbed my things and started to walk away fast.

Bart called after me but I just kept walking and told Traci I'd meet her in the car.

Shanes POV

What was that?

Like what just happened?

That was Lisa alright..... but how did she know that guy?

I honestly don't care who it is because she definatly did not seem interested.

She started to walk really fast in my direction, but she didnt see me so I hid.

Then I decided my mom would probably want to help me out before my date with Lisa.

I needed my moms comfort more than ever right now!

She always knows what to say. I sent her a text when I got in my car that said, "Thought I could use a visit to one of dads old favorite flower shops before my date tonight. Let me know what you think. :)".

She quickly responded "Of course Shanely :) i love you!".

That made me smile.

Then I drove home.

Lisa POV

Bart was the last person I had wanted to see before a date.

Bart was just not a great guy to me.

I like Shane anyways so it doesn't really matter.

"Lisa", I hear a faint voice through the car window.

I look over and see Traci.

I unlocked the cat so Traci could get in.

"What happened back there?", Traci asked.

"I don't know but Bart was acting weird. Ugh, I just wanna see Shane!", I said as my head dropped to the steering wheel.

"It's ok Lisa! You will be ok! That outfit you are wearing tonight is going to blow him away!"

"You really think so?", I asked Traci

"Of course I do!", Traci said.

Traci decided she wanted to drive me home so I just went with it.

I couldn't wait for the date tonight.

Shane POV
I guess I had forgotten to set an alarm! I feel asleep wearing a suit and tie and shopping bags all over me.

Shit!!! I was going to go pick Lisa up!!! And I still have to run and get some flowers!

I quickly said hi and bye to my mom and then I ran out the door. I drove to the flower store to get Lisa some flowers.

SHIT!!!!! I FORGOT MY WALLET!!
