Chaptr 8

Lisa Pov

After work, I looked at my phone. There was no text from anyone but Traci. "Hey girl! When you get off work meet me at the mall! Your date isnt until later and you will need an outfit! See you soon <3". Wow! Traci knows just what to do in these situations. She has been through it all! She has a boyfriend. I text Traci that im on my way. 

Shane POV

Im digging through my closet. I have nothing to wear thats nice and not to casual. Ugh, I think. I never liked going to the mall. I would rather go to Target and buy a $5 tee shirt. But theres something about Lisa that I just feel like I need to try and dress to impress. I turn away from the closet and hit the mall.

Lisa Pov

"hey girl! how was work?", Traci asked smiling. 

"it was good!", I looked over at Traci with a sad face.

 "Lisa whats wrong?", Traci said. 

"What if I'm too annoying and I spill everything on him or I dont eat right or..."

"Lisa! Stop talking like that! I've known you for such a long time! You will be just fine..."

"what if he just doesnt like me? I mean he could be the last person I'm in a realationship with and if things go wrong..."

"If he doesn't like you then hes missing out! Why are you worrying about the little things? Dont you think I would have left already if I cared enough about the little things?", Traci joked. "I dont and shane seems like the kinda guy who wont either. Trust me".

Traci hugged me and I felt better. 

"Back to outfits now!", Traci said smiling. "lets see if this fits you"

Traci held up a white sleeveless top with buttons down the front and a turtleneck that folded down.

"I love it!", I said grabbing it then heading toward a dressing room.

Shane POV

Its hard to go to a mall knowing there may be some fans. Dont get me wrong, I love my fans! Its just if they figured out that I was going to dress up they may suspect something. There will be tweets everywhere. Posts all over instagram. Youtube comments will start asking questions about what they had seen on other social media. Etc. I ran into a few fans. But I had to sneak past hot topic to go to a more formal store. Since I sell shirts at hot topic, they kinda reconize me. I walked into the more formal store and got a new white button down shirt with a black jacket over that and some jeans to make it kinda classy. I looked across the mall into a girls store and I could have sworn it was Lisa. I ran across the mall to get a closer look.

Lisa Pov

"This fits! This will go great with some jean shorts!", I said.

"Lisa! You look so pretty!", Traci said.

"Thanks for taking me to the mall today! I really needed this.", I leaned over and gave her a hug.

After I checked out as we were leaving I bumped into someone and I fell. Traci backed up a step with her hands covering her mouth.

"What? Do I look ok?", I said looking at Traci. 

I saw there was a hand right in front of me offering to help me up.
