Day 2 - Your Crush [a Sonnet]

The second poem I write about

Happens to be about you

Even though I very much doubt

You finding out who this is to

You’ll probably never even see it

And this is a good reason why

I’ll probably never tell you and quit

I’m far too incredibly shy

I’ve liked you for two years already

But for most of it I didn’t know

I was trying to get my thoughts steady

It ended up in me feeling quite low

But now I can admit my affection

And I hope you look in my direction
