New Year's was awesome.

It went out smoothly the day after the thing in the rooftop. I hadn't told anyone about my "fascination" yet. I didn't think it was necessary. Other than that, the party went smooth. Harry invited his other friends as well as Jill to his flat where we celebrated New Year's. And I may or may not had a few shots before the clock struck twelve.

That was the actual time I first encountered a hangover. And to be honest, it was the worst fucking time of my life. It felt like bricks repeatedly hitting the top and back of your head, banging continuously until your skull would crack. Not to mention it affected my mood as well, getting pissed at Harry for no reason and ending up apologizing to him because I had a hangover. He kept teasing me about how he told me that this is what I'll get for not listening to him about the shots.

Other than that, that's all that happened in a matter of two weeks. And here I am, on my bed, jumping almost a mile up as I heard my phone blast the alarm tone. "Fuck!" I screamed in shock, eventually colliding with the carpeted floor of my room, my head shooting daggers of pain.

I had my eyes closed tight in pain, grunting in extreme annoyance before a thread of profanities left my mouth. This was not how I pictured my first day of university to start out.

"What was that?" Harry bursts in the room with a bat and a pink apron wrapped around his waist, looking prepared for some battle that was never going to happen. I looked at him weirdly, doing my best not to laugh at how he looked like right now.

It was after a few seconds when he noticed me on the floor, causing him to drop his bat in a flash and doubling over in laughter. My face creased, a frown tugging on my lips as I got up to smack him on the back repeatedly. "Don't laugh at me, you jerk." I whined, his laughter not even dying down the least bit.

I just watched him laugh the hell out of him until his face turned red, his laughs becoming inaudible. "You're such a fucking prick." I exhaled, grabbing my bath towel and heading towards the bathroom.

"Breakfast is on the table if you want one." He called over me as soon as I slammed the door closed, hearing muffled laughs from him before I hear another door close quite calmly.

I hissed at how badly my head ache was becoming, focusing on taking a long, relaxing shower for the meantime. I had a feeling it was half-past 7:30 in the morning, making me wonder why Harry was up this early. That boy was weird.

"Are you ready yet, Ems?! It's nine in the morning already!!" I jolted up from my bed abruptly, my heartbeat raising quickly as I heard Harry's furious knocking on my bedroom door. I glanced at myself, seeing I was fully dressed already, only one factor making me possibly late.

I fell asleep while texting Jill.

I grunted, annoyed at myself as I ruffled my hair before going to the door to open it for Harry. He had a massive frown on his face, his full lips pouting at me. "About time you opened the door." He stated, shoving my messenger bag at me.

I caught it quickly, "I'm really sorry, Haz. I kind of...fell asleep." I muttered the last part quietly, looking down. He sighed heavily, running a hand on his hair in aggravation.

"Okay, whatever. You still have around an hour before your class starts anyways. I'll bring you to Kn-"

"WHAT? NO." I cut him off mid-sentence, Harry taken aback at the raise of my voice. He quirked an eyebrow on me, pouting.
