"I hate BioChemistry." Were the first words I uttered after Jill had gotten home and slumped the shitload of homework I had for the week. She looked at me in an amused manner before grabbing a glass of orange juice by the kitchen island.

"Hey, it was your choice to have an undecided major. Sucks for you, you have to take all subjects." She said with a smirk plastered on her face. I glared at her, poking my tongue out at her before starting with all the work.

I was halfway through my Physics essay when Jill sat across me, clearing her throat. I looked up at her from my Physics book, "Hm?" I ask.

She looked flustered, fiddling with her fingers and doing her best to avoid looking at me, "Well, um, I was invited by Parker from Calculus class to a party and I was wondering if I could go there tonight and um, leave you here?" She asks, looking at me with puppy dog eyes.

I rolled my eyes at her in amusement, giving in to her request, "Fine, go. Just don't be late, okay? Who knows what I'll need from you when you're away." I said, finishing off my essay and blocking out the cheerful cries of Jill.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, Ems! I promise I won't go to a party for the whole month after this!" She cried, pecking me on the cheek suddenly and heading straight towards her room. I laughed at how her reaction was towards what I said. She completely lit up like a kid in Christmas morning.

I turned back to the other homeworks I had left undone before heaving a deep sigh, deciding to finish it already. I wasn't allowed to go to Knox for at least a month because of what happened to me. Apparently it's against their code of "ethics" to allow an injured student to the university unless they were completely healed.

So as for me, I'm stuck in Jill's flat for a whole month. Amazing, I know.

"Remember not to do fast and heavy actions and best you do is just rest and I'll do the rest, okay?" Jill rambled on, looking panicked as she applied the last coat of mascara on her eyelashes, facing away from her vanity mirror and turning towards me with a sheepish grin.

"How do I look?" She asked, spreading her arms sideways and turning twice, waiting for my final judgement. I smiled, satisfied at how she looked. "You look stunning." I told her, watching her smile as she approached me and tugged me into a hug.

Apparently Parker's party was a clubbing party so Jill got stressed quickly. She didn't know what to wear so that's why she pulled me from my History essay for a couple of hours. Not that I was complaining, though.

She turned out perfectly with my help. Wearing a sequined Hi-Lo Aqua dress and nude, cut-out stilettos, she could be described as perfection. I curled her hair into long, cascading waves; making her even more tantalizing.

"Thank you so much, Ems." She said, exasperated. I smiled at her, pushing her towards the front door and literally kicking her out. "Now go and have fun because it won't last long." I teased and she immediately muttered a 'bye' before scurrying off our floor.

I laughed at her as I closed the front door, heading over to the dining are and fixing all my stuff. I was satisfied with all the work that I've done for university since the others were due in two weeks. I washed the dishes before heading over to my room, plopping the pile of work into my messenger bag.

I was about to go and clean up before going to bed when I passed by the wall-sized mirror, my reflection coming into sight. I stopped by my tracks, taking a few steps back as I faced myself in the mirror. I feared what I saw in the reflection. She wasn't Emily Grayson from 2010 anymore.
