Chapter Six

Chapter 6: New friends?

The weather had started to get older, it was almost December and everyone was getting excited. Erwin announced that there will be no expeditions until after the new year. I was glad to heard the news as everyone else was.

I made my way to the court yard, there was no training today so I decided to wonder the grounds. Sudden when I was turning a corner I bumped into something, that something fell back with a surprised gasp escaping from them. I glanced down at the person and blinked.
"Oh I'm so sorry!" The boy shouted, scrambling up to his feet. I got a better look at him, he had blonde shoulder length hair and bright blue eyes.

"My name is Armin, uhh what is your name?" He asked nervously, playing with his hands.

"(Y/n)" I spoke simply. Not caring about this conversation. Then I heard a pair of foot steps running towards us, I turned my head to see a boy and a girl running up to us. The boy had dark brown hair with emerald eyes, while the girl had darker hair with an almost purple colour eyes.

"Armin! We've been looking for you!" The boy shouted. Once they were right beside us the girl glared at me.

"Who are you?" She asked rudely.

"It's rude to ask someone's name before introducing yourself, didn't your mother teach you any manners?" I asked bluntly. She clenched her fist and stalked towards me before Armin jumped in the way.

"Don't Mikasa!" Armin shouted, blocking her path from me.

"(Y/n), this is Eren and Mikasa. They are my childhood friends." Armin explained. I simply nodded my head, showing I understood. Suddenly Eren grabbed my arm with a tight grip.

"You should come join us for lunch, we were just heading there now." Eren asked as he smiled at me. I stared at his hand in silence.

"Oi brats what do you think you are doing?" A voice came from behind us, we turned to see a mad shorty making his way towards us. I could feel Eren stiffen as he came towards us.

"Jager, get your filthy hands off her, and make your way towards the dinner hall with the other brats." He spoke seriously, giving Eren a death glare. Eren quickly let me go as he saluted and ran off with Armin and Mikasa. Once they were gone Levi glanced at me then started walking away.

"Let's go (Y/n) you're sitting with me today." He spoke softly. 'Did he just call me by my first name?' I thought to myself, thinking I was going crazy. I sighed quietly to myself before I decided to follow him. We slowly made our way towards the dining hall, none of us spoke a word to each other, the only sound was our steps echoing the stone hallways.

I stared at the ground as we drew near the doors to the dining hall, I entered a little trance as I thought about earlier. 'He wasn't afraid of me..? Why did he even ask me to join them for dinner? Why does Levi want me to sit with him now?' My head slightly pounded as the questions zoomed around in my head. I wasn't paying any attention as I did not notice Levi stop in front of me, I continued to walk straight into his back which caused him to stagger forward a few steps while I tried to maintain my balance and my cool composer but that proved difficult when a blush flushed into my cheeks. 'He smells nice.. He smells like Lavender.. STOPPP (Y/N)!!'

He quickly spun around to see me just as shocked as he was, my right hand flew up to my face as I attempted to cover the burning blush. His shock quickly turned into a glare and sighed something under his breath as he turned to open the doors. Something like 'Stupid brat' I believe.

We entered the dinning and the room fell silent, everyone was looking at us with shock. I guess no one enters the dinning hall alone with Levi often.
I hated this, all this attention was starting to cause boiling anger to burn in my stomach. My face slowly change from my neutral resting bitch face to a terrifying cold glare, scanning the room at each annoying face.

As I was about to speak up before Levi cut me off.
"What are you all looking at? I guess the food is terrible tonight since you all idiots look constipated..." He bellowed loudly across the room, causing everyone to look away except for Hanji and the three people I met earlier.
I sighed loudly and started to make my way over to Hanji, my usual company for every meal. Suddenly Levi grabbed my arm and pulled me harshly back, causing me to turn around to look at him.

"And where do you think you're going Cadet (L/N)...?" He asked coldly.
I looked at Hanji then backed to him with blazing eyes.
"I'm sitting with Hanji.. Like I usually do, is there a problem with that?" I asked angrily, glaring harshly at the man grabbing me. I had to fight the urge to punch the little shit in the face as my anger kept growing.

"I have orders to watch over you from Erwin from here on out, since you're new. He thought it would be in your best interest to be taken 'under my wing' because we have similar tendencies." He spoke with his hands to make air quotes, causing him to let me go. I noticed he was staring at the angry red scar on my cheek after he spoke, his eyes twitched with pain or sadness but I couldn't tell because as soon as it appeared it was already gone.   This news slightly startled me and my mind began to race with questions.

'Does he know my secret? What did Erwin tell him!? I swear to god..!' I looked at Hanji out of the corner of my eyes and she looked scared and confused.

That's when I snapped.

My eyes burned as the golden glow appeared, I grabbed ahold of his cravat tightly in my right hand and shoved him back against the wooden doors, the air around us started to get thicker and heavier, weighing Levi down as he struggled to move.

"What in the fucking hell did he tell you?! Huh?! Did he tell you that I'm....!" I spat angrily at Levi with hatred in my eyes.

"(Y/N)..!!!" Hanji screamed at me causing me to stop mid-sentence and snapping me out of my trance of anger.

'Damn I almost spilled my secret out to everyone.... How could I be so stupid..' I thought bitterly to myself. I released Levi from my grip and my eyes faded back to normal, my glaring gaze fell on to the floor as I pushed Levi out of my way. Swinging the huge wooden door open as I proceeded to walk away toward my room... Well Hanji's office.. I grunted in pain as my scars started to burn from under the old wraps.

" I'm not hungry anymore." I called out bitterly behind me, causing my scar to pulse with pain.

I staggered towards the room as fast as I could, panting loudly as each step was sending searing pain up my whole body. I had to use the wall as my support by the time I reached the door, I swung my hand forward sharply for the handle until I stopped to hear a familiar voice call my name loudly from behind me, before I started turning around to see who it was they grabbed ahold of me from behind and spun me around. My eyes widen slightly as the person in front of me was......

(I'm so sorry I haven't updated in forever, I got a boyfriend and a new job. I feel like such an adult.. ; -;
