Chapter Seven

Chapter Seven: Infectious need for answers.

 I staggered towards the room as fast as I could, panting loudly as each step was sending searing pain up my whole body. I had to use the wall as my support by the time I reached the door, I swung my hand forward sharply for the handle until I stopped to hear a familiar voice call my name loudly from behind me, before I started turning around to see who it was they grabbed a hold of me from behind and spun me around. My eyes widen slightly as the person in front of me was......

I open my mouth but no words would come out. 'It was Levi... Damn it why him??' I was panting harder as he spoke to me. Sweat started dripping from my forehead. 

"Damn it (Y/n), why did you walk off like that. Not only did you make yourself look like an idiot but you made me look like one as well!" He yelled loudly. My vision began to become blurry, my eyes slowly fluttering shut. I could feel his grip loosen as I slowly fell into him. 

"Hey..... (Y/n)..!? Hanji get over here and help me with...." Levi yelled out slightly alarmed. I could not hear him finish his sentence as I lose conscious. Nothing but darkness. 

Levi P.O.V

I caught (Y/n) in my arms as she passed out against me. Hanji quickly was beside me to help pick her up.

"What the hell is wrong with her? A minute ago she was able to pin me to a wall and now she passed out!" I growled toward Hanji.

"I-I don't know, we need to bring her to my office.. this can't be good." Hanji Stuttered. 

We manage to drag (Y/n) to her office and place her onto her bed.  Her pointed towards the door as she spoke to me. "I'm sorry Levi but you need to get out. I can't work on her if you are here. You know... Since you are a boy and all..." She sheepishly said. I was about to argue with her but I knew she was right. I clicked my tongue angrily as I walked towards the exit. 

"Fine.. But I'll be right out side the door if anything happens.." I grumbled, shutting the door behind me. I pressed my back against the door, running my hand through my hair. 'Why do I care about her, I should be doing my paperwork.. I'm quite behind already. Something is telling me to stay. What is this feeling, what the hell is wrong with me...?' I thought to myself, fighting away a dark blush at the thought of her and her being possibly naked behind the door. 

"Damn it.." I muttered to myself.

(Time Skip)

Levi P.O.V

It had felt like hours since I had left those two alone. I find myself pacing back and forth in front of the door. 'What the hell is taking so long.? How bad could she be?' My mind kept asking questions faster than I could come up with an answer for them. Suddenly the door slowly opened. Hanji stepped out of the room and was wiping her forehead with the back of her hand. She looked tired. 

"She's gonna be okay now, she just needs some rest. She'll most likely be in bed for a few days." She spoke softly then let out a sigh as she stared at the door. I felt slightly relieved hearing the news. 'Wait. Why the hell do I care? Also that still doesn't answer my questions...' I gave Hanji a glare.

"What happened? Why did she suddenly pass out like that.?" I asked feeling a bit frustrated. 

"Some of her old injures still haven't healed properly, it seems some of them reopened from your guys sparing match a few days ago and have become infected." She rolled her eyes at me.

"Old injures? What do you mean? She just got here." I asked.

"Not everything is what they seem, it is not my place to talk about it. If you want answers then you'll have to talk to her personally." She spoke softly and turn away from me, Slowly making her way down the hall to finish her dinner which would be cold by now. I was left there staring at the wooden door. I clicked my tongue, thinking about what Hanji said. 'So (Y/n) is hiding some secrets it would seem.. I have to get some answers.' I opened the door to her room, slowly walking towards her bed. I can't help but notice how peaceful she looked, I watch her chest rise and fall as she slept. I pulled out a chair and sat down. I continue to watch over her as she slept. The longer I stared the more attractive she really was and it was a shame about the scars on her face. Knowing I cause one of them, the stitches were still there. I could not help but feel slightly guilty for that. 

"Hurry up (Y/n), I need you to wake up for me...." I whispered softly, I reached for her hand but before I could touch her. (Y/n) began to stir in her sleep. I retracted my hand as her eyes slowly began to open. Showing her beautiful (E/c) eyes. She blinked a few times before she looked over to me. 

"Levi, What are you doing.." She was cut off as I spoke over her.

"I need you to answer some questions for me and I need you to answer them truthfully or there will be consequences." I said dangerously. (Y/n) eyes widen as she tries her best to hide a blush from my tone.

She swallowed slowly, she seems nervous. "And if I can't answer them?" She asked quietly. I couldn't help but smirk at her question. 'Oh you're such a fool (Y/n)..' I leaned forward in my chair as I spoke to her. 

"Then I will be sure to make you answer them." My tone darker than before. She had a hint of fear held in her eyes but it would soon disappear faster than it appeared. Our eyes remained locked together, neither of us glancing away for a even a second. 

'This should be fun... Let the games begin (Y/n). ' I mentally chuckled.

I hope I'm not too rusty, I'm gonna post this chapter now and I'll come back and edit it on Monday.
