Chapter 1: The Eye patch

One day Barney went down the Street, Cold and abandoned something was off. Although you may think that the streets being cold and abandoned is off, but its not. whats off is that there is one apartment light on. Usually at this time at 12:35am all of the apartment lights are off.

"Bong, Bong. Someone seems to be awake." Barney said to himself.

Barney decided to check it out. As he knocked on the door, it opened a little as Barney peered in, all he could see was a small lit candle on a cardboard box.

"Hello?" Barney said as he slowly stepped inside.

As he looked around the apartment he noticed a little shining object, like a jewel in the corner of his eyes. When he turns to get a closer look it moves away. He slowly walks towards the object but then it disappears. Barney then goes to check where it went when he saw it again but across the room.

"Hello, Anyone here?" He said as he stared at the object.

"GET OUT!" said a mysterious voice.

The voice sounded like a guys voice but scratchy like they hadn't had something to drink in a while.

"Sorry, but yours... well candle was lit from the streets and I wanted to make sure everything was ok." Barney had said, slowly getting closer to the jewel thing.

"I'M FINE! Now leave!" Said the voice.

But Barney didn't move except closer to the jewel. Once he got close enough to touch it he raised his claws slowly to touch it.

"DON'T TOUCH THAT!" The voice said as someone came up behind Barney with a golden sword to his neck.

Barney quickly squirmed to the floor and turned to face the mystery person. Although just from the light of the candle Barney could see quite a lot. The guy looked actually, well Human. He had Dark brownish hair, Sunglasses Indoors? ok whatever. He had sweat dripping down his face with his golden sword to Barneys neck. He was wearing a black shirt and pants. The guy seems to be tired but Barney couldn't really tell because of how dark it was.

"So are you going to tell me or do I have to slit your dinosaur throat!" Said the guy.

Barney started worrying he was to busy looking the guy over then listening.

"Sorrys, but I wasn't listening." Barney said frightened.

"I SAID, who are you?!" The guy said, poking Barney with the sword in the left eye accidentally. "Oh shit! Are you ok?!" The guy said as he helped Barney up.

"I need a doctors or something!" Barney yelled while holding his claws to his eye in pain with blood dripping everywhere. As Barney bleeds the guy pulls up a chair and sits Barney down. The guy starts grabbing supplies but Barney can't really see whats going on. After a few minutes pass by, the blood is cleaned up and Barney's eye is completely gone and is covered by an eye patch.

As the guy pulls up a chair next to Barney he says, "Ok dude listen, I'm sorry I was just worried, and scared its been quite a journey." The guy facial expressions showed sadness. "Anyway, I'm Sky." He says as he extends his hand

"I'm Barneys" Barney says extending his claws. "So why are you here?"

"Oh yeah," He said as he laughs pityingly. "Well I travel the world searching for, well this," Sky pulls out the jem that Barney had spotted earlier. With a closer look at it, it looks purple, dark purple with a gold lining.

"Wows, Why though?" Barney asked. "Is it worth a lot?"

Sky looked almost mad. "No, well Kinda, It's my moms, she gave it to me before she, well was killed.... by squids." As he said this he looked sad. "After she passed I've hid from place to place, But when I was 9 they found me and took my amulet. Ever since then I've looked for it and finally found it." Barney started tearing up.

"Wows dirt, That's sad." Sky looked up and quickly said, "Uh yeah, when my mom gave it to me she said it had some kind of powers or something. But anyway that's my story..."
