Chapter 26

Hachi's POV

It had been 5 months since Kusaki's disappearance.

The day that we lost her was crazy. Everyone called everyone. Asked where she went and tried to find her.

We looked everywhere. Yasu even went back home and nothing.

She was gone. She was all over the news. The one that went crazy was Ren.

He couldn't take it. He's been depressed these pass few months and can't get over it.

Even worst is all of the media wants to get to him since his speech.

"I will like to reward 50,000 yen and more to anyone who finds my sister.... Alive or..." He started crying "Alive or dead" he finished. It was all over the news.

The media went crazy over the fact that a girl was missing, yes, but the fact that it was Ren's sister was even worst. Everyone already lied and told different stories or even said that they were his sister which was worst for him cause they'd get his hopes up.

I felt bad for him. Naoki is also going crazy but not depressed. He'd go everywhere to find her.

He wouldn't stop searching. At first we thought he went missing one day but he was going everywhere. He went to all of the places that he said Kusaki wished to go and she wasn't there.

I couldn't imagine how crazy it was. Nobu, Nana, Yasu, Naoki, and Ren went crazy. It hurt my heart to see how much they cried everyday. No one was themselves.

Neither was I. Everyone was quiet, depressed, sad, worried, scared.... It was horrible cause you never know if we would find her alive or dead in the ditch.

What scared Yasu was what they were doing to her. It could be anything. He blamed himself for the whole situation, saying it was his fault he should've went.

It was Yasu, Nana, and me at the table drinking as usual. Quiet. Shin was making himself something and would try to keep it positive. He says that what Kusaki would've wanted, keep things positive.

Nana was smoking and looking down, frustrated "Yasu.... It's my fault... I can't keep up with this! I'm going crazy!" She cried "I dream of her every night and...." She broke down.

Yasu looked at her and didn't say anything. It was the same for him "We have to keep looking" he said sadly.

We then heard a knock on the door. It seemed as if it was argent. I quickly stood up and opened the door. Takumi, Naoki, and Ren came in. They all had crazy looks in there eyes "Na-.... Yasu!" Naoki shouted.

"What going on?" Yasu looked at them with a monotone voice. Takumi looked at Hachi "Have you seen the news? It everywhere!" Takumi said looking around for a TV.

We all went into my room because I had a TV set. We turned it on and it was straight in the news. On the bottom it said "Breaking news: Ren's sister, Kusaki, is found dead"

We all froze.

We all were shocked.

This couldn't be true. It had to be fake. Ren dropped to the ground and started breaking down. Everyone broke down.

Naomi's face went blank, he wasn't there anymore. Everyone went blank as we were watching the news. The words repeated on the TV. I started tearing up and screaming while Takumi came behind and held me for comfort.

"Kusaki is dead"
