I didn't have to worry the next two days; it was the weekend. If I wanted to, I could stay in my dorm all day. Not only because of Louis; I could read, write, play my guitar, be on Tumblr. When I think about it, it was better anyways to stay in my room I shared with my roommate.
Speaking of Caitlyn, she had other plans.
"Lori? Lori! Pleeeeasee," she was literally sprawled across the floor, aiming for the place in the room where the sun was shining the most. To be honest, it was a lovely day outside, and we don't get much of those. Not even in the summer. I knew that, and so did Cait, as she'd been trying to convince me to go out with her for the past 20 minutes.
I was on my bed, tucked under my blanket and scrolling through Tumblr. I had a 2l bottle of Coke next to me on the floor, and my half-filled glass on my nightstand. It was pretty obvious why I didn't want to leave.
While Cait was the outgoing, bubbly, joyful person whom everybody knew and loved, I was more of her sidekick; the friend that everybody knew because of her. I was often referred to as "the Ron to her Harry". It was ridiculous because it was true.
I was soon pulled out of my imagination by my Harry.
"Come. On! Please! They said it's gonna rain tomorrow, and, and, and that it's gonna be windy, and cold..." Cait had now crawled up to my bed, and was watching me with puppy eyes. For God's sake!
"For fuck's sake, don't you have any other friends?" I shouted at her, a bit frustered and annoyed. She raised her head a little, and looked at me more seriously.
"You know you're gonna die here, right? If it wasn't for me, this room would be smelling like your corps!" she shouted back at me and I was astonished; Caitlyn never yelled. But she did have a point though. If it wasn't for her, I probably would never go out of the dorm, except for classes.
I knew she was right, and she knew I knew. The smirk playing on her lips has never been so annoying to me until that very moment.
"You know that I really fucking hate you, right?" I said, glaring at her as I put my laptop to sleep. There was no going back after this.
Caitlyn grinned and practically dragged me off the bed.
"Yay! Come on now, we've gotta find you an outfit!"
I sighed. I suppose we weren't going to go outside for another while.
*******
"Hi, lovelies."
I smiled awkwardly at the boy working behind the pay-desk, as he grinned at me and Caitlyn. She winked at him and I immediately dragged her further down the grocery store.
"Do you know him?" I asked, a smile still apparent on her lips.
"What? No. I know people call him Mikey, that's all," she smiled as she said his name. Aw, Cait's got a crush.
"Well, he's cute," I stated boldly. Caitlyn raised an eyebrow at me.
"Do you like the guy?"
"No, but you do," I wiggled my eyebrows at her as she rolled her eyes at me.
"Please, don't make me laugh," just as she said that sentence, laughter was heard in the front of the store. Cait and I instinctively turned our heads so we'd see what was going on.
"You're a bloody moron Michael."
I froze as I recognized the voice. Fucking hell. I knew there was a reason I didn't want to go out today.
I looked at Caitlyn, who had her eyebrows raised at me, but as soon as she looked to her left her gaze became collected. I looked to where she was staring, and saw the one and only Louis Tomlinson buying something.
