I'm soooooo sorry for not updating earlier. This chapter is also long-ish, and I really hope it was worth the wait. Also, could you check out 'Coincidence' by LivingOn1D? She's a friend of mine and a pretty good writer c:
Ok, you can now enjoy chapter 24! :)

I sighed, frustrated, and stopped walking in the middle of the hallway. Whoever it was that was calling me, picked a really awesome moment to do that; I was holding like 8 books in my arms, and I really didn't need my Blackberry to join them. But, oh well.

I became even more pissed off when I noticed it was an unknown number. The only people I didn't have added to my contacts were the ones I didn't like, so this should be great.

"Hello?" I said through a sigh.

"Hi babe!" A cheery voice spoke.

I widened my eyes as I recognized it. "Oh God... Louis?"

"Surprised to hear me?"

"Um, kind of... Where- how did you get my number?"

"I have my ways." I could hear the smirk that was on his face as he spoke. "Anyway, you wanna meet me somewhere? I haven't seen you in ages."

I sighed, it was true. The exams would start in two weeks, which meant we all had 15 days to prepare ourselves. And everyone was freaking out, to say the least. Anyways, that was the biggest reason I couldn't see Louis, at all; he did agree to help me and everything, but he had his own subjects to study for, so he couldn't always have time for my crap. Which led us to not seeing each other for four days, since our last Drama class; quite a record, isn't it?

"Uh... What did you have in mind?" I questioned, praying to God he wouldn't suggest his dorm again. I'd been successfully avoiding Zach since the last time I was there the previous week, and I didn't want to face him again.

"Well, you know how I asked you to help me with Charlotte's present? How about you do that now?" Louis asked and I was a little taken aback. I know he'd told me we'd do it this week, but I wasn't expecting it to happen on Monday. Not when I had this many subjects to study!

"Um, Louis, you... You haven't really picked a good time." I bit my lip, I really didn't want to turn him down, but eh.

"Aw, come on! It's only six. We'll be back by eight, and I then could help you with Renaissance Literature, or whatever it is that you're having problems with." Wow, did he just read my mind? Still, his offer was painfully tempting.

"No," I said uneasily. "I'll be tired and-"

"I'll buy you coffee then! Come on, Lorena, can't you see that I want to see you?" Louis said, most likely with a smile on his face, and I if he was there in front of me, I would have choked him. Why was he making cute offers when I least needed them?! On the other hand... I could use some help with Renaissance Literature.

I sighed for the third time in one minute, before answering. "Fine. Where are you right now?"

*******

"So, where are we exactly going?" I asked as I buckled up my seat belt. Louis glanced at me from the driver's seat, and shrugged as he started the car.

"Nearest mall," He simply stated and I nodded.

"How old is Charlotte going to be?" I asked after a shorter silence.

"Sixteen."

"Sixteen?! Shoot!"

Louis looked at me again, this time frowning. "'Shoot'? What's wrong with being sixteen?"
