"Pascal, go, go call my mother, she'll know what to do!"

Moments later my mom was outside and my dad was on the phone speaking to a paramedic.

The red lights drowned out the darkness that the night displayed and Cheyenne was lifted onto a gurney and wheeled into the ambulance.
Pascal begged to go with her.

I believe that he did love her, even if she was crazy.

The hospital lights were bright and almost blinding, Cheyenne was rushed into emergency surgery to remove her burst appendix as it was possible its secretions could harm her unborn baby.

My mom was hysterical, pacing up and down the hospital ward like it was going out of fashion. After an hour and twenty five minutes, Cheyenne was rolled into the ICU and her condition was stable.
During the operation, the doctors did an ultrasound and found that Cheyenne was expecting twins. Two boys.

"Shhhh, she's coming to" my father whispered.

Cheyenne cracked a yawn, "what happened, is my baby alright? Where's that skank and bastard I call my boyfriend??"

"Cheyenne, you're expecting twins, urh, Pascal is with Lilly in the waiting room, should I go call them?"

"No, I cannot bear to see them, not after what they have done"

"Done what?"

"They cheated on me"

I could hear her words and they sent chills down my spine

The color from my face had gone and so had the feeling in my legs.
My opportunity to rectify things had also gone, I'd lost my mind. Its official.

Vanished.

And so had all the respect my parents had for me.
