Dakota's POV

*warning: there is some inappropriate stuff later on so yeah, just though I'd let you know incase you wanted to skip it*

It was Friday now which meant that Faith was having her party tonight.
she was practically forcing me to come even though she knew that I didn't particularly like them. every time I attended one, something bad happened, what was there to like?

this whole week consisted of Luke and I avoiding each other -even though we didn't normally talk anyways-. every time we passed each other in the school hallways he would turn and walk in the opposite direction, and when I went to visit Calum during the week he would make an excuse to leave.
I guess this was just apart of his whole kiss and ditch scheme.

"hey you ready yet?" Ashton calls while knocking on my bedroom door.

"yeah I'll be down in a minute." I respond, looking at my reflection.

I was wearing dark blue jeans, a white tee, and a black leather jacket. considering my casual outfit I decided that I would actually take the time to make my makeup look nice with the stuff Faith bought me for my birthday awhile back.

I put a minimal amount of concealer on my face then flushed my cheeks with some blush, bronzer, and highlight. since my eyelashes were already dark I just put on a little bit of mascara and lined my eyes with some black eyeliner to make them stand out more, and for my hair I simply put it up into a messy ponytail because I would most likely take it out anyways.
I was actually very pleased with my appearance, I looked quite presentable if I'm honest.

running down the stairs I slide my phone into my back pocket then run out to meet Ashton in his car.

"be safe tonight, please." he says while I slide into the passengers seat.

"Ash, I've been to a party before."

"I know but Luke and all his friends are going to be there tonight and you never know." he looked truly worried for me, but I didn't want him to be.

"you can trust me okay?" I reassured him.

"alright but I swear to god if any of them try-"

"Ash!" I interrupt. "I'll be responsible, I promise."

even though I wish I could, I don't think I was able to keep that promise.

the drive to Faith's house seemed longer than usual. It was probably because Ashton wouldn't stop lecturing me about what and what not to do at parties.
he was always one to look out for others, especially me. I was his little sister though so I guess he was obligated to do so.

"don't drink more then five drinks, don't smoke anything, don't let anyone you don't know touch you, and don't drink anything that you didn't make."

"goodbye!" I wave to Ashton as I step out of his car and he slowly dives away.

Faith didn't exactly tell me who all was coming but from the sight in front of me she must've invited the whole entire school.

pushing through the many people surrounding her house, I make my way inside. I scan my eyes around the room but she's nowhere to be seen.
as I continue walking towards her dining room I feel the presence of someone close behind me. I didn't want to turn around though because it was most likely someone headed the same place I was. so I tried my best to just ignore them.
