"Its been good considering you left. But that's when I was elected into the agency so..." I trailed off.
"Yeah sorry,I moved because the south side of the agency recruited me." he said.
"So why are you back?" I asked with only a little sass.
"I was transferred." he said with a smirk and a gleam in his eye.
"To where? What position?" I asked myself.
"The partner division and guess who's my partner?"
"Oh shit..." I thought.
"Its you. I requested that it would be so we could catch up on old times." he said.
"Ok. So we should get these bodies and head back to HQ." I said.
He nodded and we got our body bags out of our backpacks and once they were in the bags, we ported them to HQ.
"We should get back. I think the Ambassador would want to see us." I said.
"Yeah probably the best idea." Tucker said. He looked at me in awe. I couldn't read him.
We got back to HQ around 3:30 in the morning. The bodies were being cremated in the west corridor and the Ambassador called us into his office on the 50th floor. The Ambassador is a tall, broad shouldered man with a partially gray goatie and a semi-receeding hairline. His eyes are also VERY silver. Almost creepy. We sat in the overstuffed plush chairs in front of his desk.
"Good evening agents.... or should I say, good morning." he chuckled a little under his breath and then his whole vibe changed. "Now, lets get down to business. You two were separately assigned two different targets to eliminate....." he trailed off. He heaved a sigh and turned around and began digging in his briefcase. Tucker looked at me with eyes of curiosity yet worry. It gave me the same feelings.
"Did we do something wrong ?" I wondered. I rung my hands together. I had to keep a straight face. The Ambassador kept glancing up at us with concern. In a few seconds,he turned back around and set two thick files in front of him.
