I woke up to Tucker's green eyes on my face. He got excited and hugged me. It hurt. A lot. A nurse came in and yelled for him to get off and leave. I tried to tell him not to go but I chocked on the tube helping me breathe. Tucker turned and the worried eyes began to make him and me both cry. That's when I saw his condition. His arm was in a sling and he had a gash on his forehead with stitches. A tear slid down my cheek. He left because the nurse pushed him out.

The nurse check my vitals and removed the breathing tube and gave me something solid to eat.

Tucker came in two days later with dark circles under his eyes. He hadn't slept all this time. I smiled and he sat on the bed.
"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Good, I'm finally eating solid food again." I chuckled. He smiled but then his face got serious.

"You almost died. Your heart stopped 4 times. What did they do to you?" He asked on the verge of tears."

"Not much, just beat me up and dangled me over 600 tons of explosives." I said sarcastically.

His facial expressions didn't change. He stared at my arm, now bandaged. Then he slowly moved his eyes to my neck. I moved my hand to feel a bandage and when I pulled it away and saw the minimal spots of blood.

"They removed some kind of glowing liquid ball thing from your neck. It was a bomb." He said as the tears fell down his cheeks and onto his lap.

I was shocked. A bomb? "But how was I paralyzed?" I thought.

A nurse came in and told me I was discharged and I had a checkup appointment on Thursday next month.

"Why next month?" I asked.

"I know about you and your secret." She said looking at us both.
