CHAPTER 5// Liam's House

Adne

When I got home it was 5:30. I didn't need much time to get ready. I wasn't one of those girls that take like five hours to get ready for date. 

I changed out of my clothes because they were burning my skin, and they were all burnt. I put on a similar outfit. Black Skinny jeans, black tank-top and a black leather jacket. I guess Emily really has mastered my style.

I looked in the mirror. I was actually pretty happy, I didn't want to look to girlie, like I tried to hard, but I didn't want to look like I didn't try hard enough. It was just right. I left my hair it's natural wavy. I put on some eyeliner, mascara, and some black eye shadow. They were probably gonna think I'm goth because everything I have on is black. Outfit, makeup, and shoes. Even my socks were black. When I was done, I walked downstairs. My mom was in the kitchen. When she turned around she dropped her plate. I used my super speed to catch it. My parents new about mine and my brothers powers.

"What's wrong mum?" I asked. 

"Your wearing makeup, you only wear makeup on special occasions. Okay tell me, where are you going."

"I'm going to a party with drugs, alcohol, and men over 40." I said sarcastically.

My mother's mouth dropped. The thing with my mom is that she believed every word you said, no matter how you say it. 

"Mom, seriously, I'm just going to a friends house." 

"Oh god, you scared me for a minute there."

"Good to know." I said. I handed my mom her plate. She kindly took it. I looked at the clock 6:00pm.  I heard Liam's car drive up to the side of the house "Gotta go mom."

"Okay, honey, love you." She called out. 

"Yeah whatever." I murmured to myself. I ran to the car in human speed. I hopped in and buckled my seat belt. "You really missed me that much that you just couldn't wait for me to come, so you were looking out your blinds?" Liam said. "Shut your mouth and be thankful I haven't set you on fire yet. Now drive so that I can get this damn night over with." I said leaning my head on the window. 

He chuckled and started to drive.

"Oh by the way, I kinda told everybody that your my girlfriend, so for one night can you act like it?" He said. I stopped walking up to his front door. I just stood there speechless. Then some words came to mind, so I said them. 

"Hell no!" I said. 

"Please it's just for one night."

I shot him an evil glare. 

"Only one night." I said. He smiled.

"That's all I'm asking for." He said. 

When we got to the door we walked in. Liam asked if he could take my jacket, but I said I wanted to keep it on. 

A lady walked in. 

"Hi! You must be Ariadne."

"Yup that's me, you can call me Adne the though." I said.

She smiled and said, "I have heard so many good things about you."

"That's weird, because, I'm a dick." I said. 

Liam's jaw dropped. Liam's mother opened her mouth, and for a minute I thought she was gonna throw me out. Oh how much better that would have been than what she did. 

"Oh Adne, your so funny, I love you already." She said. I cringed at the words I love you. Oh how it's been a long time since somebody said that to me. 

Liam's mother led me into there dinning room. When I got there, a whole bunch of men were sitting there, with woman right by there sides. Every seat was taken except for two. Mine and Liam's.  Liam intertwined his fingers with mine and led me to our seats. I sat down. Liam sat down beside me. I let go of our hands, because I was starting to feel uncomfortable. 

We started eating dinner, although I wasn't hungry, I still stuffed my face in food, I didn't want to be rude. 

"So, your Ariadne." One of the males asked. I nodded. "I'm Josh. Nice to meat you. Oh and this is my girlfriend Mary-Jane." He said. "You can call me MJ though." Mary-Jane- I mean MJ said. I nodded, "Nice to meet you as well."

"So your dating my cousin, Liam?" He asked. I choked on my food, then remembered that everybody was told that we were dating. Good one Liam. "Um, yeah." I said slowly. 

"You better take care of him." MJ said. "Oh I will. I will make sure he gets what he deserves." I said. Shooting and evil glare at Liam. He just shrugged.

After everybody was done dinner, Liam's father- which I learned that his name was Paul- said something I was not to happy about. 

"After every family dinner, every man has to kiss there, beautiful woman." I wanted to kill Liam so much right now. 

"I need a man." I murmured to myself. Liam elbowed me and said, "Hey!"

"What? It's true." I said. He rolled his eyes. Everybody had already started kissing there companion. Liam turned to me and before I even knew what was happening, Liam had his hands on my hips and was turning me towards him, then, his lips were on mine. 

I didn't know what to do. I tried pushing him off, but I didn't get the super strength. 

I tried, I really did try. It didn't work though, Liam was stronger than me. Then I thought of an idea. Why not have a little fun with this? 

I kissed him back,  then put my arms around his neck and brushed my fingers through his hair. He didn't expect it, and I could tell by the way he tensed up. But then he wasn't so tense anymore. He put one hand on my cheek. 

I pulled away and stood up. "I'm not feeling very well, I should go. Thanks for dinner Mister and Misses. Collins. It was great."

I then walked out. I walked out the door and into the cool night air. I started descending down the road. My house wasn't a very far walk from Liam's house. I was feeling weird and odd. I put a hand on my stomache and stopped. I heard footsteps coming up behind me, so I started walking again. 

"Adne, wait!" Liam called out, but I just kept walking. Then I felt someone breathe on my neck, so I stopped walking. I heard someone take a step closer. Our bodies now touching. "Adne." Liam whispered. 

"What do you want Liam." I said. 

"You." He said. 

My heart started to beat faster.

"What?" I asked, although I know what he meant. 

"I know you know what I mean Adne." He said. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to his body. He put his chin in the crease of my neck. 

"That kiss made me realise that I want you Adne." He whispered into my ear. He kissed my neck, and then moved down to my shoulder. "You don't want me Liam. Nobody does." I said, then in a flash I was out of his grip, and in my bed, waiting to forget this whole night.
