Farkle's Pov:

Is it weird that I'm nervous to hear riley and Charlie's conversation? I mean, He's probably still a douchebag and I really care about her. So I probably have a right to have some nervous tension running through my body, right?

Maya snaps me out of my thoughts by poking me. I didn't even realize how charlie awkwardly walked in. From the doorway Maya is making me watch them at I have a pretty good view of what's going on. Riley looks pretty nervous herself as she awkwardly signals for charlie to join her on the couch.

"So what do you want charlie?"she asks. She sounds pretty harsh, but then again I would be to if I was talking to him.

"I want to explain."

"Explain what? Your idiotic move to try and kiss me? Well I don't need or want an explanation Gardner." She says, harshly again.

"I'm not here to explain that. I'm here to explain why I'm here and why I think you should give me a second chance."

"Look charlie, if you want a second chance you aren't getting one. I don't know why you would even think that I would consider giving you another one-" He cuts her off and begins speaking:

"Look riley, I was stupid, really really stupid. But I've changed I promise." Yeah I've heard that one before.

"Charlie, trust me, I want to believe you, but I cant. You just said the exact thing lucas says to me. And he never changes. And now I'm done with him. And if I'm done with him, I should probably be done with you." I like fierce riley.

"In my opinion, if you're done with him, you should give me a chance. Because now you don't need to focus on him, which is what happened the last time I was with you. And the same reason I did what I did. I just wanted some attention." Attention my ass. Even I can tell he's lying.

"Charlie, if you wanted attention, you should have told me. And if you want attention now, you are most certainly not getting it." Does she actually believe him? Oh my God riley.

"Please riley, just one date. Movies? Dinner? The park? Anything."

"Look I finally got my independence back, and I'm not losing it now."

"You can still be independent, just be independent with a boyfriend."

"You are not my boyfriend!" she says, pretty much yelling. I really wish that mr.matthews would walk in right now. He would have charlie out of here in a second. And that just gave me an idea.

As Charlie keeps trying to convince riley to date him, I get out my phone.

"What are you doing?" Maya whispers.

"Fixing this mess." I say as I text mr. Matthews this: 'mr. Matthews we have a problem, Charlie's here. Get here as fast as possible.'

"Really, you texted Cory?" Maya whispers

"Yep. He'll fix this."

"Farkle, sorry to damper your thought, but he is not bob the builder. He can't fix everything." Maya is wrong, mr.matthews has this under control.

"Riley, I'm telling  you. Just forget friar and  come with me."

"Trust me, I've forgotten friar. But I am not going out with you-" Riley says as cory walks in. Finally mr.matthews is here. Now he can fix everything.

"What's going on here Mr. Gardner?" Mr. Matthews says

"Look sir, I've changed and all I want is to prove myself to your daughter." I swear if mr.matthews lets charlie  do this I'm going to flip out.

"Dad tell him that he couldn't have changed."

"I can't say that riley." Holy crap mr. Matthews. This is where he was supposed to tell charlie to take a long walk off of a short cliff.

"Thankyou sir, so riley what do you say?" Charlie says happily. Ugh I actually hate him.

"Dad what do I do? What if something bad happens?"

"What if something good happens? Look, riley, I can't protect you anymore. If you want to take a risk, take it. If not I'm sure charlie will just leave." Mr.matthews is giving me headaches. This was supposed to solve things, not make them worse.

"Riley?" Charlie asks nervously. This is where I have to say something. I stand up, and Maya whispers for me to sit back down. I'm just going  to ignore that and go with my gut.

"Riley!" I say walking right up to her. "Riley, don't do this. Don't ruin everything you just fixed. Please don't give in to someone again. It's not worth it."  She looks at me, with confused eyes.

"Riley," Maya says, coming next to me,"listen to farkle. You just got over your jerkish guy issues, you don't need another."

"Let her decide for herself!" Charlie yells, standing up. Mr. Matthews slips out the door. Wow he sure solved all of these problems.

"STOP. I WILL DECIDE AND YOU WILL ALL SUPPORT MY DECISION NO MATTER WHAT!" Riley sure has yelled a lot today. I like it more than usual.

"Ok fine. I'll support it." I say. She smiles, which makes me smile. What could possibly go wrong? She's obvisiouly not gonna go out with him. I have nothing to worry about.

Maya looks worried. But I know riley, she won't do this.

"Charlie, my dad said it's possible that you could have changed. And that I should take a risk if I want to find out for myself." Oh no. This can't be happening.

"I will go on one date, but only one, just to get answers." That hurt. No, actually, that killed. For two reasons: 1.) I care about her and I cannot see her get hurt again. 2.)I thought I might actually have a chance with riley for once, but that chance just basically disappeared.

"Really? Ok good, I'll pick you up at seven." He begins to walk away, "And thanks for giving me another chance, you won't regret it."

I cannot believe that just happened. I look at riley, who, for some reason is already staring at me.

"Good luck with that douchebag." Maya says as she walks out the door, with it slamming behind her. That is what I like to call 'tough love'. She really doesn't want riley getting hurt. Neither do I.

Riley stands there staring at me, and me staring right back. For some reason she looks sorry. I want to say good luck, or say that nothing bad will happen, but for some reason I dont. I just walk out, with her staring at me the whole time.

"Farkle-" She begins to say. But it's to late. I've already walked out. With me slamming the door twice as hard as Maya did.

I find Maya on the front steps. She looks up at me and shakes her head. She stands up and begins walking. We walk to her house and just talk, watch tv and wait. Wait for riley to come back. But we have no idea what to expect.

Riley's pov:

I can't believe I just did that. What do Maya and Farkle think? Maya looked pretty confused. But Farkle, he looked hurt. I don't even know at this point.

It's five minutes before seven. I'm in a black lace dress  that goes down to about 5 inches before my knee. Not too short, not too long. I have my hair just as it was on my first date with lucas.  I hear a buzzing sound. I run up to the door at there he is.

Charlie is in his jeans and black v-neck, and a green sweater/jacket. It's almost just like what lucas wore on our date in seventh grade, which scares me that they dress the same.

"Hey." He says

"Hi. So where are we going?"

"Its a surprise."

"Ok then." I say. I grab my white coat at head out the door. He leads me to the subway.

I don't know what's about to happen, but for some reason I feel a little nervous about it.
