Farkle's pov:

"Ch-Charlie?" Riley says, stuttering a bit.

"Hi Riley." He is staring at her just how he used to, before he left. He has no right to stare at her after what he's done. I mean, it's certainly not as bad as what lucas has done, but still.

"Hi maya... Farkle." he glares at us, just how he used to. I'm surprised he has enough courage to show his face after what he did.

I remember the day, back in eighth grade. We were all on a retreat before graduation. We went to the same long cabin Shawn took maya and riley to after christmas in 7th grade. The whole 8th grade class came for 5 days. It was mr.matthews idea, of course, because he wanted us to get to know each other before things got 'serious' in high school. Well lets just say we all got to know charlie, a little to much maybe.

It was the night of the 4th day, our last evening there. We were all on the rooftop, looking at the sky. It was one of the first times we could actually see the stars, besides texas, but lets not go back to that cause of hell.

Cory and ms. Harper went out for a walk, to talk about graduation and other stuff like that i guess. So lucas, maya, charlie, riley, rebel, missy, and I all went up to the roof. We all decided to play truth or dare, like every other group of kids in america. It was probably a bad idea, considering at the time maya and lucas were dating, and charlie and riley were dating.

So it was maya's turn first, she just dared lucas to go ha-hurr in everyone's faces. Classic. Anyway,then it was Lucas' turn, who dared maya to square dance with him, i could see the sadness in riley's eyes on that one, it was what her and lucas had done together in texas. Lucas still had no idea riley still had feelings for him.

Then it got a little more intense.

It was charlie's turn, who had dared riley to french kiss him. In my opinion, she looked so annoyed with the thought of doing anything near to that.

I could tell that she was annoyed by the next thing that she did. We all could tell she was annoyed after that actually.

Riley got up and said that she had to use the bathroom. Charlie didn't believe the excuse for a second. So she tried another way to get out of it. She said that she was cold, but rebel offered her his jacket. Then she just came out and said it, "look charlie, i am not going to get talked into my second kiss by peer pressure and this ridiculous game. I am really not in the mood right now, maybe another time."

"Second kiss?" He said, acting surprised. i had forgotten that he never saw or heard of lucas and riley's kiss.

Riley and lucas looked at each other, both nervous but smiling.

"Not the point,"riley said,"I just really dont need this right now charlie." Riley had begun to walk away but charlie got up and grabbed her arm.

"Excuse me what do you think you're doing?" She asked, very annoyed now.

Charlie grabbed her other hand and started pushing her near the wall.

Everyone had stood up, we all started looking at eachother, wondering what to do. Charlie got her to the wall, ready to kiss her. Your could see that she was very confused, charlie had never done anythng like this before.

As charlie leaned in, with riley looking more uncomfortable than ever, i saw a glimpse of lucas as he walked passed me. He walked right up to charlie, and gently tapped him on the shoulder, charlie turned around.

"Hey, uh buddy, what do you think you're doing here with riley?" Lucas asked. You could tell he was somewhat bugged by this. We all were.

"What's it look like I'm doing, getting riley to be a good girl." Charlie replied.

That was when lucas snapped. He knocked charlie to the floor of the roof, and took riley, with his arm wrapped around her, downstairs. I could hear him talking to cory, who had just came back, about what happened. Cory was talking to someone on the phone when lucas came back up. He picked up Riley's sweater from the floor, and he picked up charlie as well. He dragged him by the arm down the stairs, and to cory. We all heard a car door open and slam shut. And we heard the car speed away. And that was the end of that trip.

And now back to reality, charlie stood awkwardly at the doorway, with maya, riley, and me staying frozen in place. Riley and maya seemed to snap out of their flashbacks, probably the same one i just had, and looked at each other nervously.

"Can i come in?"charlie asked.

"I-I don't think that would be um, a good idea." Riley said, stuttering again. I could see all the confidence that she had just gained, by basically beating lucas, fade away.

"Look i need to talk to you alone." He said. Ptff, like maya and i would ever let that happen.

"Look, Gardner, i dont know what you want or why you're here, but we are most certainly not letting you be alone with riley." Maya said, basically getting all up in charlie's face, like in those gang movies.

"Yeah, after what happened last time I don't know what good you expected to come out of this visit." I say, cause for real, nothing he could do after last time could be good for any of us, right?

"No, no it's okay,"started riley,"if i have handled lucas today i can definitely handle him."

Maya and i nod, but look at riley for one last assurance that we should leave.

"Guys, I'm sure about this." She said. Well, i dont think maya and i are quite as sure as she is.

Maya and I look at each other, and slowly walk away. We start to walk down the hallway towards Riley's room when maya stops me.

"What are you doing?" I ask, as she grabs my arm.

"Do you really think we can trust charlie? Think about it." She's right. We kneel down, half sticking out of the doorway that leads to the hallway, making sure they cant see us. This should be an interesting conversation. I just hope nothing bad, or necessarily good, happens.
